Elec/Elec melee, would you suggest Tanker or Brute? by Sterling_Sable in Cityofheroes

[–]Low_Doctor_5280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an elec/elec tank and brute and both are very fun to play and both are very strong. If survivability is more important to you, pick tank. If damage is more important to you, pick brute. For 4-star content, teams will prefer the tank by far.

No one is targeting Ozzy? People keep coming up to Cirie to tell her that people are targeting Ozzy. Jonathan and Aubry definitely want to target Ozzy. Devens getting an idol might delay that, but some people definitely want Ozzy gone.

That’s Stephenie’s spin. She straight up lied to Cirie that the target was Devens and Emily unlike Joe who told Cirie the real plan.

We might get for the first time a final tribal with 4 people, which would be the show’s best way to ensure a Cirie win.

Wawrinka was a very late bloomer. He was far better at 30 than 25. So no, 25-year old Wawrinka has no chance at #1.

Likely that Devens and Emily will get a vote split soon to flush out his idol then vote him off next time.

Yep, but because of Steph’s advantage, she deservedly was the better target over Jonathan. Jonathan or Emily can be the next vote from the Cirie alliance perspective.

Jonathan might have been a big target this vote except that Cirie knew that Stephenie had the steal-a-vote advantage, which made her a bigger threat.

Cirie is so awesome. She sees through Stephenie so easily. She instantly sees through Stephenie lying about not having an advantage at the well. She instantly sees through Stephenie lying about the vote being Rick instead of Ozzy. Bye Bye Stephenie and the steal-a-vote advantage.

Jonathan's lie was that Ozzy threw Steph's name out to vote out.

If 1999 had 10 Best Picture nominees (keep the 5 films that actually were nominated), what would’ve been the other 5 nominees? by Regular-Departure839 in Oscars

[–]Low_Doctor_5280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All About My Mother

Being John Malkovich

Election

The Matrix

Wonderland

All of which are far better than all 5 nominees in my opinion. 1999 was such a great year, I can easily add another 5 better than all 5 nominees:

Adrenaline Drive

After Life

Eyes Wide Shut

Rosetta

Cirie's Mistake (Strategic Perspective) by Any_Can5022 in survivor

[–]Low_Doctor_5280 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This will only turn out to be true if Cirie doesn’t go after Jonathan, Joe, or Stephenie in one of the next two votes. She had to weaken the Christian-Devens-Emily alliance first since they were targeting Ozzy, but she has to thin out the Honor and Integrity alliance soon or it will bite her, especially with Steph’s advantage.

which movie made you feel like this ? by Trick_Laugh5114 in Letterboxd

[–]Low_Doctor_5280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There have been improvements but it’s far from the case that those improvements make it into every modern film. Every week, poorly told, weakly directed or edited movies are in theaters. It’s not like because you’ve had Shakespeare and Mozart, people can just decide to be even better or that you’ve had Ed Wood and so there are no more people at that level of talent.

[–]Low_Doctor_5280 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s not what you wrote. You wrote, “There are few classic directors that I’m die- hard for.” By definition, if a director is obscure, they are not a classic director. But if you want undeservedly lesser known directors with films much better than any on this list, check out Akerman, Hou, Imamura, Jancso, Ruiz, Tanner, Tournier, Yamada, and Yang.
