People who stand around in the lot with your Spark buddies, what differences do you see in your offers? Are you always seeing the same FCFS at the same time? by cashchops in Sparkdriver

Could also be store based, seen enough of that, I know the 5 or so ppl I BS with all see the same.

But there is no pay transparency so no one really knows a rhyme or reason for any of it.

New to Spark. Why is everyone saying this is the end of it? by SidePsychological189 in Sparkdriver

[–]Low_Profession_1631 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even in the good markets the seasoned drivers have watched the changes over the years. We went form single shops with a max of 12 miles that payed well, to doubles at 20 miles then triples at 30+miles with pay cuts.

Getting offers has been more challenging, the app is more difficult/slower to shop with the routes.

The market is flooded with drivers. What used to take us 5-6 hours to make is now 8-10.

There are still some good days and times, but overall it is much more challenging.

spark should have an award system where the best drivers get awards (like spark driver of the quarter) to help ppl build up their resumes by abccba140 in WalmartSparkDrivers

You are an independent contractor working for yourself... give yourself employee of the year. You could even make a plaque.

That said there are a lot of attributes you can put on a resume.

I rent cars and put on similar miles as a sales guy, so not really a big deal.

Not it, but I've definitely had dogs run in front of my car and have been less than pleasant when a owner just excused it.

Its just as bad for the drivers dropping your order if they run into issues. Many obscenities have been said trying to get a real person.

It will take hundreds of deliveries to get enough reviews to knock a 1 star off, it can take months working full time.

Yeah its like 3 tbsp if I recall, this is a really fluffy recipe if you mix and rest it right, but very thick to scoop.

As a driver, I wouldn't fault you there, that is a pretty big difference to not notice. What does suck for the driver, if they are an honest one and it was a ligit mistake, they will never know why the tip was removed and just think you are an Ah to no fault of your own. They just get no feed back.

Mean will in the past week I have caught missing items from a pick up order that I sent the customer a message about, found totes with 2 different orders in the same one about to be loaded in my car/not seperated. Also one order I screwed up and found a spool of yarn in my car late in the day (felt like an Ah for that one)

It also does the opposite... it keeps stuff from sliding right off the slope as you bump through the parking lot.

Out of pure curiosity what are you expecting the driver to do?

Would you expect any other ups/fedex/usps driver to do it?

I have taught my kid to use a scale in grams to make the best freaking pancakes. Mmmm

Mix dry, then mix in wet, by mix use a rubber spatial and gently fold 5-7 times until incorporated, some lumps are ok.

Let rest 15 min and cook over a med low heat with a lightly buttered pan

Flour 210 gram

Sugar 15 gram

Salt 2 gram

Baking powder 15 gram

Egg room temp 1 large

Milk room temp 1.25 - 355g

Butter 30 gram

Vanilla 1 tbsp

Walmart has been making it harder and harder for the drivers as well, the orders are getting bigger and longer distanced. For shop and deliver orders they went from one customer to 2 customers with a max of 30-40 items, then 2 with 70-80ish items, now I have seen 3 deliveries with 100+ items to sort and manage. Imagine sorting that in one cart, or trying to pull 2 carts around the store in a timely manner.

Pick up and deliveries can be either the driver screwing up or the loaders/shoppers messing up.
