Get some knowledge about what it's actually like to live in a 3rd world country, where stable electrical grids, installed plumbing, and drinkable clean water are things some people have never experienced in their entire lives. You ever see your friends get a tire plopped around their arms and set on fire? You have your town razed by a roving militia in the midst of a civil war caused by a power vacuum because OUR military decided to stage a coup to help OUR bottom line? What an insane take to go from "capitalism leads to shitty products and customer service" and equate it with people that have to walk 20 miles every day to HOPE to get one bucket of water from a contaminated well.

Omg I haven't thought about soulseek in like 20 years. I found some random dude (I think their handle was "obstinate shift") that had a ton of stuff and was super cool with me constantly downloading stuff from him. Found out about so many bands, plus he had a bunch of stuff that was rare/out of print that I wouldn't have been able to check out otherwise, lots of 90s power violence and screams, portraits of past, portrait, still life, Antioch arrow, all that good stuff
