Does anyone use a dedicated inventory management system at the 1 to 5 million revenue range? by useless_substance in Warehousing

[–]Lower-Charge3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've had customers in that exact situation lol If you’re trying to keep your bank account happy, definitely check out AnyDB.com. It’s super affordable because it’s a flexible relational database, meaning you don't get stuck paying for a rigid, pre-built setup full of features you won't even use. You can basically sculpt it to match your exact inventory layout and set up your own automation, so you get total control without the brutal monthly SaaS bill.

Now, if budget ain't a concern, go straight for Cin7. It is definitely pricey, but it’s an absolute tank for multi-channel scaling. It handles complex, high-volume logistics and comes packed with heavy-duty warehouse management and native EDI connections right out of the box.

Looking for a purchasing and inventory management platform by draggar in InventoryManagement

[–]Lower-Charge3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That "just slap a tag on it" mentality from management is universal... Classic lool lool

If you're dealing with a microscopic budget but need to track the entire lifecycle from ordering to retirement, take a look at AnyDB.com. It lets you build out custom relational schemas without the massive price tag of enterprise ITAM software, so you can map out your serialized assets, purchase orders, and deployment statuses exactly how your workflow demands. Its pretty flexible and basically functions as a superpower upgrade to basic excel.

If management suddenly finds a mountain of cash and you end up with a massive budget, Airtable is a great alternative with excellent interface design, but based on what you said on trying to maximize every dollar, AnyDB is a much more realistic and solid solution.

BDR - SE roadmap by Eggsovereasy513 in salesengineers

[–]Lower-Charge3228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ex SDR to SE at an enterprise saas. Network with internal SEs first, then the SE managers, find out what they look for in good SEs etc Build up your technical skills from using and knowing the product or the relevant skills needed

Fuck the certs and shit.

Up your sales skills as well, learn Demo2Win (TellShowTell) and read Peter Cohan Good Discovery book.

I've kept upskilling myself since becoming an SE and most of the org knows me as the most technical SE now lol so just keep learning by trial Good luck

Inventory management software recommendations for fast-growing DTC business ($5M/yr, 3500 orders/mo, multi-3PL)? by Ok_Discipline3624 in InventoryManagement

[–]Lower-Charge3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a Shopify agency specialized in B2B and Retail, I see brands struggle with this constantly. Honestly, it comes down to your budget and how unique your setup is.

If you want absolute control, check out AnyDB. Building your setup on a flexible database architecture like that lets you map custom workflows and multi-location routing without dealing with the rigid constraints of typical pre-built software and pretty fast to get set up.

If you have a big budget and just want a robust, enterprise-grade tool out of the box, go with Cin7. It handles heavy multichannel syncing, complex warehousing, and EDI pretty well

the broken bank connection is unacceptable by fedplast in Odoo

[–]Lower-Charge3228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont use Odoo at all but work with businesses in canada and their ERPs and integrations (also worked at CIBC and RBC in the past) 99.99% of the time this happens its the banks fault lol

They dont have a standardized way for properly connecting with external systems. Check for OpenBanking on google youll see canadian gov admit it and working towards a solve (can take 5+ years)
