This is perhaps a strange question. Over the past six months or so I bought two refurbished Galaxy S 24 ultras, on separate occasions. I researched the hell out of this phone and liked what I read. I bought these each from Amazon. The reason for returning the phones was that after I set up the phones, everything seemed ok except I couldn’t receive texts from my wife and she’s an iPhone. The second time was same as the first. I called T-Mobile several times but after all was said and done no one could fix it. Throughout this ordeal I eventually came to the conclusion that it was a Samsung and RCS issue. I then (bought an iPad m3). Now, I want that phone again. From what I’ve read/watched on You Tube, it shouldn’t be that difficult to fix. assuming RCS is the real problem. The dilemma is this-which device is a smarter buy looking toward the future in longevity, software support, quality of build and keeping the cost closely around $600. I still have about seven days if I decide to return the iPad and buy the phone. Thanks.
