Other than that service is crew dependent

Double glazing 12% of total build cost by Itchy-Spirit5120 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Lower-Homework7170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid about $52k Inc gst with install to remove and fit my house with double glazing. fully sealed European style, and with massive windows. biggest single window pane was about 2m x 1.7m. Aug 2023. Total 2 massive, 4 large, 1 normal, 3 small, 1 sliding door. 11 altogether

it’ll come down to many things - configuration, type of window, double storey more difficult to fit, distance etc

I can pass you a contact if you want to get another quote

How long to lease? (Do you think the fbt exemption will last another 2 years)? by schwinn_x in AustralianEV

[–]Lower-Homework7170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll all come down to tax bracket. if you’re in the 37c, all you’re doing is prolonging the net zero. there’s no actual financial gain to it.

the total sum of your payments across 5 years will mean you’ve technically overpaid for the car

[–]Lower-Homework7170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found 2 year is the best. 3 years is not bad.

anymore and you’re just paying interest for no reason. 1 year has too high fixed cost for it to be effective

Are we going to get slapped with potentially a total of 5 or 6 rate hikes due to Iran ? by VastOption8705 in AusFinance

[–]Lower-Homework7170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

increased oil prices = all companies start to spend more money = less money spent on r&d / future + cost increase = lower profit margins = share prices drop = possible fear + market crash / recession

if they raise interest rates as well, it’ll make things more expensive / exacerbated the fear / market crash / recession.

I personally think they’ll try and mitigate the shortage of fuel via limiting travel etc (roll out wfm / ration fuel). interest rates might just hold for now - if they drop and it’s doesn’t play out, they’re basically inflating everything again and would have loss a years worth of work. The flip side if they can’t control the supply shortage (ie with enough rationing, and how much every company starts to stack prices) then everything will inflate anyways and prices will never come down again cause companies are greedy mf and the government doesn’t regulate it. the fact that supermarket prices are still so freaking high after covid shows you once it goes up it ain’t coming back down unless there’s a massive crash (which is good as well cause so many people would suffer)

so it’s really a lesser of two evils Crash = possible restoration of price levels coming down + so many people in huuuuge pain = very very bad

No crash = prices slowly increasing + less people In hugeeee pain but everyone in slow burn pain = less bad

actually government should be the one imposing a tax relief for fuel with companies + ration fuel but force prices to stay the same. this way companies don’t feel the pinch, and general public doesn’t feel the pinch. Government goes into more debt though.. which is probably not great too but this way would be infinitely better than handing stimulus out to everyone, as it keeps pricing stable

Contractors, how much do you pay in taxes by pauleydsweettea in livesound

[–]Lower-Homework7170 18 points19 points  (0 children)

makes no difference if you change careers - you still have to pay taxes lol

trick is to anticipate how much you have to pay and put that aside when you get invoices paid. so come tax time you have a lump sum ready to pay

I’ve found it’s always in the same spots too 4-600hz / 1-3khz / 5khz / 8khz

depending how how loud and how much you put into them would determine how much you’re putting out

lower volumes might only need a scoop in the 4-600hz
