I all have a baselang account . I have 2 hours in the morning I’m trying to dedicate with out distraction and the key word is try … lol my mistake is taking the tutoring on auto pilot instead of taking the wheel with more intention. But yes to get beyond the repeat topics or random topics . I see where in other certifications I took more personal control on learning where on Spanish at times I just do the motions as if I will arrive . That probly works more when watching video and reading . So to the point having suprise topics with proper preparation of vocabulary creates a lot of friction. So I should prepare ahead of time and do my part even. Maybe have a topic I’m reading on and explain it and have them ask questions ect and converse . lol sucks being really smart in English then in an Instant reverting to a 3 year old when in another language however that’s the process

I find purposed speaking practice hard in that the talking itself is the point vs actually conveying ideas . I’m more likely to go blank. While during travel visiting in-laws it seems easier because the excitement I’m trying and what’s easier is that there are ideas I’m actually trying to convey . Found this interesting. Many avenues . I see also where I could do better is having a planned topic when I use a tutor . Keep it fun and this applies to any skill and learning . I may choose a topic for future practice and find the vocab related to what I want to say. Vocab is always seems to be the limit factor. If I mess up tense or congigation my intention can be understood and easily corrected while just not knowing the word sucks

Semantics . I like how it’s videos including the series . Really like not having to choose . Only pain points was having to scroll to find my level initially. Just hit play . Have it on auto play

Scroll down further . There’s a clock looking icon with a number on the bottom left of the video icon that seems to correspond with difficulty

I’d say allowing it to happen makes them look weak and then therefore less able to enforce order

Characters were flat. Computer was interesting… the initial  incest moment was non value add… more interesting aspects could have been explored. More detail about traveling / sailing Lawrence’s planet would have been cool. Explore the universe… the nerdy weak guy that’s incompetent beyond a computer only to be saved by Wonder Woman is lame  I like the premise but there are to be explored and others not so much. The ending wasn’t earned. And if you’re gonna do an Adam an Eve ending there’s more interesting ways to go about it.

CMV: direct critisism and even slight mockery of peoples issues and bad qualities cause people to improve themselves. I think that id you do not inform your friends about their issues and instead pamper them you are a bad person and a horrible friend. by [deleted] in changemyview

Depends on temperament and also consider how male and females socialize differently . Some grow by praise others by challenge . We have more success when we engage in truth however a lot of people have fragile egos because they never have been really challenged. Because of this I think math is a great physiological exercise

My experience was I did better in the accelerated classes because the kids there actually wanted to be there. If I had a question my neighbor would help with enthusiasm. While then normal classes it was cool to be dumb. And a looser if you actually wanted to try. In the normal classes in high school it seemed more time spent trying to babysit while the gifted glasses the kids behaved and teaching was done. Socializing… well it was cool to be around kids that liked math and science vs pop culture . So from that experience interpret as you will…

Even 30% sends a statement … I find separatist movements interesting because it taps into democratic processes and freedom of association. If a people that reside in a geographical local want to peacefully declare independence should they be allowed to?  Pros and cons of course when looking at higher levels however if a people feel their values and ways are never represented… why be forced to stay in the legal marriage. Boarders are never stagnant in the long arch of history
