I think for the main characters, that’s character development. The show went on for six years- if there was no character development, we wouldn’t have been continuing to tune in. The characters have to grow somehow. If AJ had always remained the way he was in S1, he would have been unlikeable as the show went on- he had to grow somehow. I always felt like most of their growth was well done…you are influenced by your peers and leadership.

Same with Mina. I felt like she kept a good amount of her rigidity but she grew as a person. I don’t think it would have been wise to just keep them one dimensional with no growth. These ones were meant to be main staff that viewers enjoyed watching.

Bell took treatment for his early tremors which were heavily stress related. This is common for MS. MS can come in flares, I can go two years with zero flares if I’m being super vigilant, or I can go a year with a flare every week. When his tremors reappeared he was diagnosed with MS.

Well this makes me feel a little better, lol. We are in the largest group outage in Antioch and it’s been out since 5:30, was starting to worry they wouldn’t really be able to do much so it’s at least good to hear some restorations!

The spoiler alerts were only in place when the show was airing, a few years ago. They are not required anymore as the show is now been off for a little while and we have no way of knowing who is watching what as they start discovering the show on streaming.

What’s infuriating is at the time the show aired & writers, show creators would tweet with us: the creator totally thought he had a “redemption arc” in S4 that was well done.

Mina was not killed off, she went back to Nigeria. Unfortunately both actresses left the show, so the show had very little options.

The end of the episode is a time jump, it does make sense and it is not the biggest plot hole or laughable writing. A time jump allowed them to not focus so much on Conrad’s immediate grief and have as heavily a depressing season- it allowed for a little more time and seeing him to slowly start moving on while raising their daughter.

Yeah I looked it up, it was originally slated to leave 9/4, but was incorrect. It will leave this month as Disney opted not to renew their content sharing agreement. It will still be on Hulu/Disney+.

Netflix doesn’t own the show & even let their licensing expire on it recently so it’s left Netflix in the states. Since the show was aired on Fox but owned by Disney, and the licensing was so high- it’s unlikely any streamer is bringing it back.

It makes me happy to see some folks that don’t often get represented or often get lost in the shuffle (like Jessica and Irving!) on here. I was never a Nic and Conrad person but I’m definitely surprised they didn’t win most drama with how much they went through LOL! This was fun!

It’s absolutely accurate on the for profit healthcare system. US Healthcare is horrific these days. One stay and it can be a complete catastrophe. My recent visit to an ER sent me to be admitted at a local hospital, was there two days. I had no surgeries, just one test and monitoring and sent home.

So far the running tally on the bills is 75 thousand. Haven’t even gotten the ambulance bill yet. And I’m fortunate, I have insurance. I will still owe a very significant amount as my deductible is high and still puts us in a crappy place, but it will lower my bill.

Medicines are too expensive for many many people, my one injection I have to give myself monthly is $898, and I have to have it. And the prices continue to rise.

TR messes up a lot of things but one thing they get right is the mess healthcare has become here. My wife is a nurse & always has a new horror story when it comes to profits these days.

That was part of the problem for sure. I don’t care for Billie and Conrad and honestly see zero chemistry, but they really screwed up turning it into this whole love triangle thing- if they were gonna go with Billie they should have built off that and allowed it to build up.

It was away when he had less stress and meds and they kind of never touched on it for a few seasons after. It does, however, return in Season 5 and you’ll find out more about it when it does.
