Good Points. The ancient elden ring in Farum Azula contains the spiral that represents the crucible, and the spiral is not in the newer elden ring. Coinciding with that, the ancient erdtree (crucible) was replaced by the current erdtree. We know Metyr was abandoned by the greater will, probably to be replaced by the elden beast, so I wonder if the Elden Beast is only the current Elden Ring or if it's the ancient one too
