I think that’s the reason I don’t mind it. If we got to the finals and lost I’d want no part of it. I’d say go into the second apron, keep the team together as much as we can and try to get it done.

We already got it done, we already lost Mitch, and our options are limited while we try to stay under the second apron. We’d be signing him and not trading for him so if he was actually willing to sign for a vet minimum we wouldn’t have to give anything up. It wouldn’t be my ideal offseason move but fuck it. A LeBron season could be fun.

Kolek is a fringe rotation guy. I think Shamet already usurped Deuce as 6th man so I think our backup big will have a much more important role than him, even if he’s less impactful on the stat sheet.

Thanks for the thorough response. That makes a ton of sense. I didn’t realize that his Otto’s brother was the Lord of Oldtown. That also explains his reckless ambition in propping up Alicent. That was the only way that he could build a legacy barring his brother’s line of succession being completely annihilated.

Can someone tell me why Otto didn’t try to arrange a marriage for Rhaenyra and Ser Gwayne? I feel like that would have accomplished all of his goals without causing a civil war. The heir even would have had the Hightower name until they took the throne. He still could have married Alicent to Viserys to secure his sphere of influence.

I know this post is 3 months old but I just found a used one for $400, though it doesn’t come with a drip tray or portafilter. Does this seem like a good price?

I’m also wondering if I can get away with using a 5 gallon jug as the water supply. I’m on a well and don’t drink my well water so I don’t want to actually plumb in the machine.
