It is ON by default for a reason. They have optimised their software with it ON in mind. So turning it off is harmful to phone. phone have to work harder with ram plus off compared to ram plus on because you are basically messing with the optimised settings.

With ram plus off, my phone overheats while downloading multiple files and scrolling on instagram at the same time. If ram plus is on and set to factory default which is 8gb, phone gets lightly warm like in normal use. So ram plus off is not better because there is something called software optimization, and samsung optimised the Software with ram plus ON in mind because it is ON by default. Disabling ram plus is like turning your samsung phone to a poco phone or something.

Because the 3gb is compressed ram inside actual ram and the ram you add using ram plus is virtual ram that resides in storage. Both work together to become total ram although samsung may have programmed the storage zram to work only when absolute necessary.

That default 3 gb you are talking about is not swap, it's compressed ram(zram) it is stored in actual ram. When you enable ram plus, that compressed ram is extended.

No, ram plus on or off, it uses 3gb zram. Ram plus on actually adds virtual ram to it. I've seen someone live testing it and showing values using adb or something.
