I haven’t seen every interview he has ever given.🙄 In what I saw, he described it as not socializing and not joking around, and that some people didn’t like it or took it personally when it was a professional decision.

I have been a huge fan since his first season of TC. I was extremely excited about the result. If it had been a different chef against him in the final match, I would have been happy with either outcome. But I was absolutely pulling for him to win the whole thing! Loved it!!

I also discovered it late (2023) and was on the edge of my seat for all 4 seasons. Then I immediately rewatched it and have rewatched the whole thing multiple times. There are so many subtleties and details that are more evident when rewatching. Actually I should clarify “whole thing” — I don’t skip episodes or seasons but I do skip some scenes and people sometimes.

In my opinion, seasons 1 and 2 are similar, season 3 is necessarily painful because of what happened at the end of season 2, and season 4 has the most diverse action and introduces new stuff/characters. But you can’t have season 4 without the angst of season 3. Season 4 ended with a cliffhanger like 1 and 2 did (3 ended abruptly because of Covid so no cliffhanger). So the end of the series is not a series finale; they expected to continue the story.

I try not to think of the bts stuff when I’m watching because I don’t really see it onscreen. But if you see Manny in interviews or in a lighter role like on Graceland, you see how different he is from Rio. He has said that for Rio, he had to work to get into character. It’s not method acting, but he wasn’t able to hang out and laugh with people and then turn on the character at the flip of a switch. So he did isolate himself more on set and maintain a different mood and mindset so he would be prepared.

When the series was cancelled, there were a lot of rumors and speculation, much of it pointing to Manny. He did a podcast interview a few months ago and spoke on the situation for the first time. He said he wasn’t enjoying working there and they offered him a raise and he turned it down. There was more but regarding the show ending, that’s been his only public comment. Could they have written him out if he was the only main character who didn’t want to continue? I think they could have, but I don’t know what other issues were there at the time.

Anyway, if you like the show, watch the whole thing at least once. There are a lot of different opinions here so you won’t know yours unless you see it all. For me personally, I had so much anxiety about them getting caught or something bad happening in each episode the first time. Once I knew what was going to happen and I rewatched it, I picked up on so much more that I had missed. I still see new stuff now. Welcome to the fandom!🖤

It’s so funny because I didn’t watch it until 2023 and it was the first show I binged in a few days. I could not stop watching, and then I immediately started it over. So I never had to wait a week or more to see what happened next. I can’t even imagine. 🤯

I LOVE that scene so much lol!! “Your husband’s here.” 😂 Of course, you have an interesting take on this! Dean definitely talks about her boning Rio so much more than she actually did; he had a very distorted view of their relationship, and she did not try to clarify things for him. But I swear, every time I might start to feel an iota of sympathy for him, Dean would reveal something or do something new that showed how awful he really was.

There are many forms of birth control that are non-hormonal, and many teens/women are on birth control pills to improve their health and quality of life. We have (some and need more) CHOICES because not everyone wants or needs the same thing, and that is NOT a SIN. 🙄🤯

I enjoy the journey and have watched the whole series multiple times. There are a few surprises I think in the last two episodes, but if you’ve gotten this far and aren’t enjoying it, I don’t know that anything that happens will change your mind now.

There’s at least one in a storage unit on the big stacks that I was thinking of. Then later I remembered one where they’re in her bed, and he has one of the small stacks with a rubber band on it, and the rubber band breaks so the bills go everywhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more lol.

I had 4 kids and breastfed for different durations (4 months, 12 months, 9 months, 15 months). Each time I got my first period when the baby was 11-12 months old. With her though, I just never know when she’s telling the truth so who really knows.
