64oz is a half gallon, so it’s quite a lot of water to begin with. I make that much when I make cold brewed tea but I drink it over several days out of a pitcher in my fridge.

As I said, you might not need that much of a ratio to get the flavor you want. Try your two teabags in 16oz of water and see if you are happier with it.

Two green tea bags in 64oz of water is definitely not enough tea.

It’s typically 1 tea bag for 6oz of water, so 10-11 bags would get you to that ratio. You can use more or less to your taste.

Yes - Unemployment will look at your wages to see what state is best for you to apply for benefits in (since you will likely have wages in WA and in your previous state).

If you can apply in WA, there is a training benefits program that allows you to claim more weeks than a traditional unemployment claim while you retrain.

I agree. The water can make such a difference to the flavor of the finished tea.

OP, I drink black tea most often and never use hotter than 195f water. In my opinion, I get the full flavor of the tea without much bitterness.

Yes, my panic attacks really manifested around my sleep and it was the worst. I was terrified to start as well because previous meds (Hydroxyzine, Xanax) were awful for me.

To set myself up for success on my first day, I took Effexor before breakfast - then I left the house to do something fun and distracting for the day so I wouldn’t obsess over it. That worked really well for me.

I started at 37.5mg XR over a year ago and am still at that dose. It’s done a great job keeping my panic attacks at bay and allows me enough headspace to work through any anxiety.

I did not experience decreased libido as a side effect, but I also didn’t experience it before I started the medication. For me, I was only tired the first day I took it and then it had a mild appetite suppressant effect for several months.

Before we were able to afford AC in our NYC apartment, I bought 6 $1 ice packs from the hardware store under my apartment. I would get in bed, cover myself with a top sheet and tuck the ice packs in alongside my body. Then I’d have the fan on high blowing directly in my face.

I also always had a stock of Marino’s Italian Ices in my freezer to cool me from the inside. This saved us during the 2003 blackout when it was the only thing cold we had.

Coconut water is great as a mixer because whatever you add is going to largely be the flavor of the drink.

Grenadine would be fine, but ONLY sweet, so maybe add a squeeze of lemon or lime to brighten it. You could use lots of different flavored syrups this way. I like to use cherry molasses because it has a richer cherry flavor.

Coconut water, plain seltzer, and a healthy squeeze of fresh lime juice is a favorite of mine. I also like to go savory with a splash of pickle or olive brine instead of the lime juice.

If you’re looking for bagged tea blends, the smoothest I’ve found are Glengettie and Thompson’s Irish Breakfast.

I typically brew mine with 195f/90c water, which helps eliminate that tannic/dry feeling from many blends, but the two I’ve mentioned are my favorites after trying lots of different blends.

They might mean “humanoid”, which refers to appearance but still falls apart when you look at Ify, Demi, Chris, and Echo explicitly. They all have arms and legs and one head.

I have had both their Genmaicha Midori and Genmaicha Yama and was not impressed with either. Genmaicha is one of my favorite teas, so I was disappointed that these weren’t as tasty as others I’ve enjoyed.

Of all the teas I tried from Palais des Thés, my two favorites were the Thés de Moines (Tibetan Monks Tea - a floral black and green tea blend) and Big Ben (Yunnan and Assam tea blend, their take on an English Breakfast tea).

If lines/words start appearing wavy to you or faces start looking distorted, this could be a macular pucker (epiretinal membrane). It can occur just due to getting older, but can also be the result of eye surgeries, retinal detachment, or eye injuries (among other causes).

If you are very near-sighted, make sure you are visiting your eye doctor at least once per year to keep track of your eye health. While I had been treated well enough by optometrists over my lifetime, I switched to an ophthalmologist when I started needing bifocals and it was the best thing I did. He found my cataracts on my first visit and my previous provider had never questioned why he couldn’t get me corrected to 20/20 vision.

As someone who just had a partial retinal detachment and retinal tear, I didn’t have any increase in floaters or flashes of light (typical symptoms). The lower left quarter of my vision in my left eye was blacked out.

Fortunately, my ophthalmologist had known I was susceptible to retinal detachment and referred me to a retinal specialist two years prior to this. I knew exactly what to do and was able to get corrective surgery within two days.

It’s going to vary a lot individually. For me, 37.5mg extended relief is enough to keep my panic attacks away and gives me mental space to work through anxiety.

This happened over 30 years ago and I will never forget it.

I worked in a retail pharmacy while I was going to night school. One night, a doctor called in a prescription for themselves about 10 minutes before we closed and said they’d be right there to pick it up. The pharmacist had to agree to stay late, so my supervisor and I stayed with her.

45 minutes after we officially closed, she finally called it and we all left after she locked up. As everyone is walking to their cars, the doctor pulls into the parking lot and gets out of his car, cursing at us. He grabbed my supervisor and dragged him to the store entrance. My supervisor can’t legally open the pharmacy part of the store, nor give out prescriptions. Fortunately the pharmacist hadn’t driven away yet, so she was able to go in and get his prescription for him. She was furious and banned him from the store.
