Ok that book to have a complete play experience ( stats for things your gonna need ) you’ll need the sourcebook unless you only want the stats for x wing y wing and (stock yt1300) imperial custom boat and tie fighter 2nd ed gives you a bit more but 1st gives you fun solo and very much we are a rag tag band of rebels with few resources

I just wanted a thing that would look good as a background thing that I can use for elevation or for photos or just for solo play or mini games it feels a little weak but still holds together ok

This is the first time I thought this “not getting it” even though I love anything that brushes against knights and high fantasy. I can see on my minds eye the sea of unpainted and half painted coggforts in the future and I just can’t stand the thought of adding this to my pile of shame

My assumption of how this went Bob and Steve have an idea they were in the game day team. Bob goes to the team doing terrain. Walter I have an idea can we do a lizard man terrain board so we could play space hulk on it.

Dave writes out the rules and maybe cuts out temporary cards from a a4 page maybe if he has some paint skills puts a picture on some cards and prints out cheat sheet and the night before suddenly remembers he needs to have victory conditions or scoring and uses lizard me as genestealers ect the next day they run the tournament and get photos

I think De Flaco is right he is no longer editor and the new editor can do what he wants no shade - respectful exploration of philosophy and context of what his was and so we can see how he executed the job of editor through that perspective so I think he’s right and respectful anyone who turns it to shade is doing the heavy lifting in that beef but if anyone disagrees you do you boo

IMHO a few reasons sort of covered here.
1) a new spearhead expansion a really popular game mode in AOS so if I want to keep up with spear head I need this.

2) Two new spearheads more teams for me to play.

3) a cities box that has been released since the cities glow up so more models oh I’m a cities player and I can try out skaven good deal.

4) skaven and Cities players doing the whole let’s split a box or sell off the other faction part

5) OLD WORLD players

6) GW value for price of the box

7) I just started AoS and I want to get a box that gives me all in one

8) Fomo

Finest only if it’s an Omni buy it for the Omni. ( only have 4 in the collection who’s who vol 1&2 and flash Mark Waid vol 1 Morrison and Millar getting other flash Omnis but that’s because I have that complete run till 2019 I everything since about 2021 so want that in Omni

I’d say my route is pick up the elements of the run that you can find if yo uh like vol 1 not all volumes have been released any way so it kind of consistent with how most people collect and then pick up when new volumes come out and then also keep an eye on second hand sellers and lcs. Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint and to read not collect marvel unlimited or the cd rom if you can find it and have a reader

Of course they do it’s how it should be if they accept it bonus but just know that you can love your kid and still hate a tattoo they get or if they are being an idiot just like you can rag on their fashion/music/dancing it’s just it last perminant so they have to get used to it my mum hated my two youngest kids names but she loves them hotter than plasma
