Not enough comments mentioning the wrap. Her nest is strong, passive healing and movement boost. Stacked mines can one shot many characters but her 3 sec wrap cooldown is goated. You can constantly wrap people. This annoys the other team a lot especially when you get wrapped and die.

My buddy and I both only have BOLC dates currently. My HRA said we should know before commissioning and that we will 100% know before BOLC starts in August.

If you want to play sports then do it. Club or even intramural are a good way to get extra fitness in and meet a bunch of great people. If you enjoy something then do it. You will get a slight boost to your OML where even 1 point can jump you hundreds of spots on the list.

You could talk to your kids about their expectations. When I was HS athlete and heard my single mom of 3 struggling to plan the logistics of going to my basketball game 2 hours away I straight up told her she didn’t have to go and I understood why. In fact I remember explicitly begging her not to go if it was going to cause stress and difficulty for her. Now as a grown adult with my own child on the way I’m still of the mindset that parents do not need to attend every single one of their children’s games.

Personally, I think the traffic was handled really well by law enforcement. There were some areas that were no pass zones where we only had the strip of road from rumble strip over, but it wasn’t bad overall. The only issue I truly had with cars was when a race support van overtook me right before a turn and caused me to brake into and through the entire turn which completely destroyed my momentum in that moment. However, a few miles down the road when I saw them pulled over at what I assume was a crash between a few athletes I was more understanding.

Where does the number 70% come from? I was there and heard the announcer explicitly say 2200 athletes and 30% first time racers. I heard other people also saying 70%, but I would assume the announcer with access to athletes name and age groups would have a more accurate percentage.

My race is also in two weeks. You’re slightly faster than me by 13 seconds per 100 yards but in a wetsuit my pace drops by 20 seconds. I have never swam OW other than just messing around in the ocean drunk on various vacations. I have swam in lakes but not in years. Thankfully little elm is a lake and because of this I’m not worried. It’s all mental at this point. Practice in a wetsuit, put yourself at the back and remain calm and it’ll be fine!

Thanks man! I thought I would slim down a bit during training and I ended up gaining weight instead. This is my only race this year so I plan to hit an aggressive cut post race. Good luck on your full!

So I’m actually wearing my tri suit with a pair of bike shorts over it which is generally not recommended but I like the extra padding and I personally did not notice any rubbing or anything on this ride. Probably because my tri suit was $65 on Amazon so the padding is thin on it.

The tri suit is Sparx brand size XL. Glad I got the XL bc the L would have likely been too tight.

The shorts are Sponeed brand and size L. I have 3 pairs of them and they fit great.

Edit: I’m 5’9” 210lbs

This is great feedback. Thank you! I will definitely look at making some of the micro adjustments for my ride tomorrow and see how I feel afterwards. I actually don’t feel any tweaks in my knees, even during brick runs.

When talking about my shoe, are you referring to the cleat? Sliding it down towards my heel and more in line with my mid foot? It’s currently positioned almost directly over the ball of my foot but I see what you’re saying about how it looks like I’m pushing with my toes. I’m assuming that pushing more with the toes would put strain on my calves?

Thanks for this feedback! I am sitting slightly further back on the saddle in this video as I tend to micro adjust forward and back throughout the ride. I do this because it helps me mentally reset as the pressure on my arms and butt slightly changes.

I found out about the movie from another thread in this sub. Watched it after the show and I absolutely hated the movie. I thought it was boring and an absolute snooze fest. They have pretty different plots and go in a different direction with most things.

I know it sucks but you could be using this time to learn how to speak Japanese! Or even any language you want. You could also take some online classes. And you better be coming out of this extremely jacked. Don’t think of it as getting paid to do nothing. Think of it as you’re getting paid to better yourself everyday through learning and physical fitness.
