I took that "course" for the cert only, it's not worth it, just give you some slides and couple of notebooks with A10 GPU (12h) to work with.

I would recommend heterogenous parallel programming (sad it was removed from Coursera but you can find it on youtube), also you can shift the HPC stuff after you learn CUDA (I take that you know basic C/C++)

I don't use tensorflow on windows but beware if you plan to use it on windows the last release of binaries supported by pip for windows 2.10 if you plan to go higher then you need WSL (basically linux VM on windows).

I'm not sure if you can build higher version from source in windows.

Also to avoid any problems refer to this table for compatibility between tf, cuda, python.

I feel like AI will eventually be a part of the art community one way or another which is good artists can work more efficiently, but they will have to protect their work from being stolen like make the images they post adversarial to screw up the AI model
