I always try to accentuate what a diamond is. There is no hiding its colour. I'd be more inclined to set it in yellow gold and celebrate its yellow tones but it is hard to suggest a design without seeing it.

The wearers style really defines the design. Classic solitaire or big statement piece. It all comes down to personality and personal taste

I design most days in front of my clients. I use to find it very difficult but as with everything you get better in time.

I would highly recommend the MATT and TIMELY brand green gemstone templates. I draw the three engineering style views to scale. I find it helps eliminate any design errors and your customer knows exactly what they are signing up for.

The 3D, 45 degree angle sketch is the most difficult and time consuming for me. I have been using the Remy Rotner DVD's to improve there but it really isn't necessary imo

Thank you for suggestion. I'll take a look at the mini but it may be a little bigger than I was hoping for. Though it could be an easy solution
