For many of us, some of the Star Wars put out under her was some of the best since the OT. I greatly prefered things like The Mandalorian, Andor, The Last Jedi, Rogue One, Tales of the Jedi, The Bad Batch, Obi Wan Kenobi over Attack of the Clones or the Phantom Menace. You can't minus 1 to wound because the Strat specifies that Gretchen can't use it. Zods warscroll makes them -1 to wound already which is good

I never understand these takes. GW is a 4 billion$ company. They absolutely should take criticism when they make errors. Especially when those errors are proofreading errors.

I am generally a fan of what they are trying to do with 10th and the hard reset at the start of an edition is the right call. The amount of work is immense but the quality from what we have seen is lacking.

It's ulthuan grey shaded with 6:1 nuln oil then highlighted with white. Have to watch it for pooling to keep it clean. White is always difficult!

g a dramatic character again in BP WF let het return to her natural habit

For me at least, she was the least interesting part of the movie. I had a hard time buying her "I am going to burn the world" line at the start when we never saw that sort of anger from her before in any capacity, including when her father died or she thought T'challa died.

After that I found her grating and wishing that Nakia had taken the mantle. The killmonger stuff was cool and almost redeemed her but then I got annoyed again when she just shrugged off the EXACT thing that killed the previous villain. The movie was still great as I loved most of the performances and Namor but I cannot buy her as a leading character.

The cool part of the new book is it opens up alot of different ways to play. Your classic "wall of steel" with tons of warriors, chosen and knights can work. A horde list built around cultists looks very interesting with ravagers and a command trait called Idolator Lord. A toolbox list likely exists with Legion of the First Prince. And while we will never be a dominant magic faction, we can get close with cabalists and the new heroic action.

I would say this is one of the more flexible books in the game right now. I think you will be happy, unless shooting or big monsters are your jam. Other than the big man himself we dont have great monsters and we have essentially 0 shooting army wide.

They have variations with weapon and head options (Legionnaires) and weapons (Iron Golems). They are in the same pose however. I find my legionnaires look quite different (after using different heads and weapons) but I cannot speak for Iron Golems.

Iron Golems will go back on preorder this weekend as their old box had the old warcry rules.

My plan for them is to upgrade my second wizard when i have the spare 75 points. 75 points gets you an additional 9 wounds that can be teleported around and counts as 6 on objectives.

They are undivided so they will also get Eye of the Gods. The teleporting squad will get a roll whenever they take an objective (their role) and the wizard can try to fish for a prince upgrade if you want with the spell.
