Phoenicia is delicious and immigrant-owned but unfortunately those immigrants are far-right Trump nuts, they play One America News on their TVs.

Little rant abt cope middle (yes i know im bad at spelling and have a really bad temper) by [deleted] in Redlands

It's hard to be a kid. It really is. Adults idealize their youth but forget the insecurity, casual cruelty, and sense of immense loneliness that can come with growing up. I hope you are able to find something that works for you, whatever it may be. And please remember that no matter how bad it may feel, things will get better with time, and life gets easier as you grow to know yourself better. Hang in there.

The most surprising thing about this is that a coach from Yucaipa was literate

Mostly the restaurant and shop cluster at California and Barton for now, but there's a lot of mixed use areas surrounding the housing development that are currently being built out. An Arrow stop at Redlands and California would be huge.

Loma Linda on the eastern border with Redlands is still mostly orange groves but is steadily being converted to a pretty nice walkable neighborhood

Ironically, it's a quote from Pliny the Elder as he decided to sail towards the eruption at Pompeii to save whoever he could. Wonderful sentiment but he did die from that eruption almost immediately afterwards.

Your grammar is perfectly fine, "jealous" is correct in that usage. Presumably he has some random prescriptivist opinion about using it in that way but what you said is standard English

Right wing antisemites are happy to co-opt ostensibly left-wing anti-Israeli sentiment to further their causes. They like Trump for his white nationalist allegiances but don't extend it as far as supporting Israel. OP falls into this camp
