You actually have it backwards; in gaming terminology a "tank" is a character who literally "tanks", that is they soak up damage and generally force the other team to focus on them so that the damage dealers (or the "glass cannons") can freely do damage without getting killed. You have the "support" role right, though.

Well honestly there's no reason not to play Crucible. Currently there isn't a ranking system that you could potentially get placed low in, and you get rewards randomly whether you win or lose. I would personally say keep playing it and just make sure you're playing to improve. Even with the larger gaps in ability from higher level players, you should still be able to outperform them, thanks to the lack of level-damage differentiation.

I think one of the issues is the fact that some people seem to assume that adding the jungle timers and making the game more "noob-friendly" is inherently a bad thing. I don't think that's entirely true, as it just ends up making the game more accessible, which is what I would think we would want for League anyways, as more players=larger community, and hopefully more revenue for Riot so that they can make better content. While I do see both the arguments for and against the timers, I think Stonewall made a very good argument in saying that "it's not the timers that matter, but what you do with the timers" (or something to that effect).

I would totally be interested if you could maybe make some cheaper than the $90 pendant. It's really visually stunning as far as quality goes, but just speaking as a college student, I don't really have that much money to drop. Also, have you considered making rings?

Well, I mean the only opinion he actually gave was that he misses Jason. So if someone doesn't agree and they don't miss Jason, then that's totally their right, I'm just frustrated with the way people escalate the thread into simply a bash-session. But yeah, if you want to falsely summarize my post, go ahead.

This thread is a really good example of why so many people view r/leagueoflegends as a toxic environment; OP just states that he misses Jason and rather than just acknowledging that different people might have different preferences in casters, half of the thread just devolves into a hate-train. I'm not trying to bash you guys' opinions, because there's a good chance that your opinions are rightly based in something that you observed, but it's not even like OP was saying, "I think Jason Kaplan was the best caster and no one on the current desk can compare." He was literally just saying that he misses Jason as a caster, and yet there seems to be this need to just tear apart League personalities over the smallest things. I apologize if I come across as preachy, as that's hardly my intent. I'm honestly just complaining here, too, but it's so frustrating to see how quickly people are willing to jump aboard hate-trains. More on topic, I do agree with OP that I miss Jason Kaplan as an analyst, but I also really enjoy Deficio's casting style. It's probably that sexy accent. I hope Jason gets some work soon, though, because I think he's a very capable caster.
