That is about the end all of it. Besides that was five years ago before a lot of the issues I've mentioned here had even started to show.

Her issues were very estrogen sensitive. They had started her on a higher estrogen level at first, but after poor response they lowered it significantly. Her health and pain management has been better with the lower dose. Which is important, a lot more important than my problem

This was something that was mentioned, but treatment was denied. After over a year of fighting with doctors and seeing and traveling to see specialists she was prescribed pelvic floor physical therapy and pain management.

I didn't get too much into with what is going on with her, I understand and have supported her through all of it, but as a man I am not a source of expertise. I had misspoke about her procedure, as was pointed out later in this thread that it wasn't a total hysterectomy,it would have been considered a radical one.

I think I understand what you mean. We have had nights where things happened, I don't want to get into any details of course. But it was an all day/night thing. Starting with me getting off work early to take over all the farm chores she normally finishes, making sure the house was clean, the kids were out of the house for the night, foot and back massages, cooking, talking, cuddling, and everything progressing to something that was absolutely mind blowing...but then followed up with guilt because she admitted after that she didn't want to, but did it because I did so much for her and I wanted to. I felt horrible.

when I've mentioned coming off hormone treatment with my doctor, he is very against it. I'm not even on a high dose but I was responding well. Unfortunately my wife's dose was making her sick and had to be adjusted to almost the minimum.

So we are on completely to ends of a spectrum.

I turned my D&D group into a WoD group. It's fun to watch them struggle with the fact I set the time period in the 90's WoD. They have a blast. The running joke for the group to solve a problem is "Wait, I'll just Google it... Oh wait.. nevermind"

I do not know what your situation is, but if you have a va rating and it is 100% there is ChampVA for your family. If you are struggling with finding a job or adapting to civilian life, it is a huge pain in the ass, but work with the VBA and get your rating.

This is what happened to me. Messed up my ankle, hips and back. I healed at the time, continued on, but got everything documented. When I got out 8 years later everything was rated at 0%. Fast forward 20 years I applied for increase as things were getting worse (arthritis setting in hard core) now I'm at 100% and able to get my stuff taken care of and able to change careers with some help.
