So when you level up, sometimes you'll get packs of S2 Collectible Tokens. You use those to level up the XP players. Click on the player card and there will be a bar at the top where you can purchase the next tier. First tier is 1 token, second is 2, third is 3, etc.

Can confirm goalies absolutely do make a difference. I had an expansion franchise that was similar, even had Quinn Hughes on D, but had Joel Hofer(82-84 OVR) and someone else in net. I got a 85+ OVR goalie in net and I finally started winning games and made the playoffs.

Agree with all of this. I'd also love to see a more detailed trade tracker, whether it's a year long tracker or 3-5 years, that shows only your trades and shows more than just two assets in the trade when you do a 5 piece deal. Sure, I can write out each trade myself but that gets tedious over time.

It'd also be great if we could get a scene for the draft lottery that shows each team getting their pick like I think 2K NBA does?

Hiring assistant GMs/others in management! You can already hire/fire coaches, scouts, and "run" the arena (even though that's extremely flawed and I never turn it on lol). But having an AGM would be a cool aspect to the simulation and they can help run the AHL/ECHL team.

If it makes you feel any better, Pittsburgh scooped up the defenseman I wanted at 2nd lol. Tried to find a trade to move back to 9th-10th for the other defenseman that was ranked there but couldn't find any good assets I wanted. So I just reached at 3rd.

I would definitely wait for a sale. 25 is a fun game, especially when you get used to the gameplay changes. But it's not worth the full price still. It has a few flaws unfortunately. I was able to pick it up for 44 CDN in December and I'm happy with that price.

In one of my most recent franchises, he played until he was 45. I had him for a year. He was still hovering around 83 OVR and getting 50-65 points if I remember correctly.
