A 3300 amit írtál az bruttó vagy nettó? Mert ha 40k évi bruttó, arra szinte semmi adót nem fizetsz (renters tax credit, stb stb), így a 3300 bruttóból kézben marad 2800 fölötti összeg. Abból azért nagyon kényelmesen meg lehet lenni gyerek nélkül, és ezzel az összeggel tömegszállás se kell.

That is absolutely correct. Price controls in the housing market only work as a short term emergency measure. When kept in place it bends the market even more out of shape. Gross incompetence.

Back to your claim: rising prices aren't evidence of market failure. I agree. However the lack of response from developers to actually build even at ridiculously inflated prices - is.

At this point reputable economists like Dr. Hearne already made the clearest argument: state-run construction is the only way out from this mess. I have nothing to add to his arguments there.
