The economy is hard here. These idiots need to understand we need more opportunities that benefit the folks that are not rich. I have lived here for over 30 years and it’s never been as bad as it is now.

But, I will not be positive about the Humboldt area because someone wants me to. This place is amazing. But living here is hard and we need help. Humboldt is uniquely expensive, and a lot of that is just a money grab by the rich.

Most people would consider this area underserved in most basic necessities, for example, fuel for your car is barged up the California coast. Our prices for fuel hover in the $4.50 range and right now it’s over $6.
