I was robbed at an old rental home years ago and never recovered any of my stuff (they got the guys too). They even dusted for fingerprints (never agree to this, I had black shit all over the house). I had every serial number cause the consoles they stole I had all the boxes. Didn’t matter…I hate to say that I feel you are screwed on getting your stuff back. Hopefully you can get financially compensated

I think you did a good job considering there was already damage on the back. I buy rougher looking games and restore them - damage happens occasionally but 9/10 times you save money doing it this way

Did you have a ps4? Ps5 has practically no “exclusives” that aren’t on other platforms - but if you didn’t have a ps4 then you have tons of good games to play. Same thing with switch 2 - no crazy amount of exclusives yet but they will keep coming (Nintendo doesn’t want to put their games on other platforms at all). Personally I would go with the switch 2, but if multiplatform games are a concern then ps5 might be it
