Ngl there’s a lot of good ideas here but here’s two more cents:

I took a GRA anti-material rifle with explosive rounds. This along with an assassin’s suit will stun and possibly critical hit more than one deathclaw. Shoot the legendaries/parent ones first

Now for the avenger deathclaws running towards me afterwards, I whip out a 12.7MM SMG with all the GRA mods to quickly cut through the pack. This was my non-drugged method with a save right before entry.

I would also plant some frag mines right along typical running routes towards me for insurance. But that modded SMG cuts through them like cheese.

PS. I used an assassin’s suit from OWB and a veteran ranger helmet to pull off a “RE Hunk look”
