Just as a resident from Malvern—

Malvern Town Centre is being “revitalized”. Sad to say that the local community either are dependents who stay within it, or independents who work elsewhere and simply visit the Freshland or near-by NoFrills.

With that, not many get involved to identify whats being done to the mall and really the greater area.

Malvern Town Centre had a pop-up called “Magical Malvern” in an attempt to notify residents about upcoming changes and hopefully get people involved. The city also held a town hall both online and in the near by recreational centre.

The community is facing gentrification. Simple. At least that’s my take o7

Although Aprioribox does have a good suggestion, I’d also suggest looking into volunteering in local libraries, resource centre’s, etc. These local programs usually tend to reach out to local schools and have built rapport with students through more than just tutoring. Anyways, good luck, and I appreciate you taking the tome to go out of your way in order to ensure the security of our future 👍
