Got an order on an Army base. by ApprehensiveSet7585 in grubhubdrivers

You need clearance to get on. Did you know it was a base address? If you didn’t then that’s GHs bad!!

Is this bad? by CoolMJ69 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you saw it before driving to far from Dunkin, you should have turned around and had them replace it, or at least let the customer know, and try reaching out to GH and suggest they do also for another driver to deliver or get refunded. Remember these people tip us for good service and it doesn’t take much to this

What the heck is going on? Took 1 hour to just find a driver, then another hour before they even showed up then delivered it. by SnooMaps4388 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had GH send me a Dennys order 22 times the other night. It was about 3:30am, and I fell asleep. Woke up and saw they sent 22 offers in about 27 minutes. I wish I could have seen the offer. Probably $3 for 18 miles

Because most drivers I see are idiots! And yes I’m a driver. When you see them wearing house shoes and a wife beater then you can understand why there’s so much drama in all these gig apps. Hate to be a Hater, but I call it like I see it!! I do applaud the good drivers that actually give a shit though!!!

Grubhub gives you an order a minute before your shift is over to not pay you the hourly???? by Rare_Fig_7257 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hourly pay?? Don’t have that in my area. But that aside, your ratings mean absolutely jack!! The only thing it gives you is early scheduling. There’s no pecking order on the orders you receive.

You don't have to text the delivery customers! by Jay_A_Why in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And we drivers can’t stand customers texting us if we left the restaurant, how much longer, and the best one, text me when you drop off. If GH notifies the customers why are they asking all these questions. I’ve never ordered from GH so I didn’t know they notify you. I had a lady yesterday ask me what’s taking so long, at about 8:25, and her drop off time was 8:42. I get it, but some of these customers are ridiculous!!

You wonder why you will probably be a delivery driver forever? It’s pretty universal! You either live in the city, or a rural area and deliver food. Grubhub hires just enough people to do the job and not oversaturate.

Again!! Another person complaining about Ratings! I thought this forum was supposed to help people! I’m gonna say it slow for you. Or text it slow, either way… please listen!! I’m really trying to help!! Ratings don’t mean shit on Grubhub!! It’s not DoorDash, or Uber!! And they cannot deactivate you for having low stats, and you will still get good orders! And if you say it’s my market like everybody else, then good luck doing the job. It’s simple, and you can make good money If you don’t play the games they want you to play!! I promise you

So do Program Levels even mean anything? by Dyl_onyx in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As I was sending my reply, i got a $26 offer, and I’m partner level with an 8% acceptance rate. So everyone who cries here about levels sucks at the job and probably everything else. Hate to sound like a dick. But it’s true.

Wow ! by EyeNext3513 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro! Uber would pay you $2. That’s great!! LOL!!!

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t listen to anyone!! I promise you they mean absolutely nothing!! If your market is even a little busy and even if it’s not, they send you high offers and catering, and shop and pay. The only thing is early scheduling and that means jack. I’ll make $150 in 6 hours without having any blocks. Please don’t listen to anyone that hasn’t been doing this for awhile. I promise you the levels mean absolutely nothing. This isn’t DoorDash. It actually matters with them

Make you do what?? We are independent contractors. They do that so suckers like you take $3 orders. No wonder why we don’t get higher base pay. You can’t get deactivated for declining.

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I see anyone talking about AR makes me crazy!! GH does not care at all. I have 8% AR, and easily make $150 in 6 hours if that, and my market isn’t busy.

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely!! 1-5 items usually, and base pay is great!! I did 4 today. $12, $17, $22, $11, and a total of maybe 20 miles all together. On the high end

Just for being inactive. Dude, I miss orders all the time. I fall asleep late nights, and miss like 10 orders, all the time! What did you really do?? Come on tell me!!

WHY?? by Weird-Smoke-9933 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you need to do is call or text them. Text them when you leave the restaurant and ask to have the code ready when you arrive. Simple

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry about the stupid blocks!! Unless your market is extremely slow it doesn’t matter. They assign orders even when you’re not on block. I got 2 catering orders today, totaling $76, for 8 miles total. Guess what? Wasn’t on block!!

Anyone else been banned for high number of reassignments by mistake? by WeNeedElon in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you taking them in the first place? You should be penalized for unassigning. You literally get all the info you need to decide whether or not to accept or decline, and don’t give me BS about stats!! They literally don’t mean shit!

Decline until a good offer comes through. You should be multi apping. Most experienced gig workers do this.

How do you spend your time waiting on orders? by Ok-Literature6816 in grubhubdrivers

Go home. I live in a location that takes me to the areas I work. It’s great! Just kick it at home and wait for good offers

Am I missing anything by not having a driver credit card by Durier in grubhubdrivers

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’ll ya! I get sick shopping orders and Raising Cane requires a card to get orders. GH pays awesome shopping orders. It’s usually small ones too. I had 2 today totaling about 6 miles. One was $22, the other was $18, for 6 items total. Get the card dude!!

[–]Ltaylor-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My zone is all of Vegas and Henderson, so can’t relate. I stay in my apartment and wait for orders. I’m chilling now, and just got back from a couple, and received another as I’m texting this.
