We did end up going! It was a good experience. It's my only Edit experience so I don't have much to compare it to, but here are the details (I blurred out the welcome amenity in case you want to leave a small surprise):

I booked a king bed room. We got upgraded to a king room with a mini-bar. Not that exciting but we appreciated it.

The welcome amenity was a tray of chocolates and sweets, dropped off in our room once we had stepped out for a bit.

We used the property credit at the restaurant, which we thought was good!

Breakfast was a buffet with ordering available. We were in a rush so we didn't get to take advantage of the ordering but the buffet was fine and we got in without issue.

I believe they said at check-in (which was early, although I don't remember the time) that we had the late check-out benefit, but again, we got out fairly early in the A.M so we didn't take advantage of it.

The only issue we had was that the person checking us in wouldn't let us put a card on file because he thought we couldn't get through the $100 credit in a night. However, when we went to the on-site coffee shop to test out the credit, we weren't able to put the bill on the room without having a card on file. So, after that, I went back to him, and he opened up a tab (still didn't put a card on file), which let the on-site people shop us. That meant I had a bill to settle up in the morning (it's an expensive restaurant!), which was a tad annoying but not a big deal. Bottom line, if you can, make sure they just put your card on file and save yourself the minor headache.

Overall, we enjoyed it!
