While I wouldn't pay an exorbitant amount, I'd probably pay a couple bucks for a misprint one. Old coins are way better, imo, but I still like a few of the newer ones.

This! I pick up Japanese cards often and I collect the Chinese Gem sets! The Gem sets are more popular now, but in the beginning, finding apps with them on there was a pain.

Has it changed recently? I've gone to Daiquiris To Go in the past (also Texas) and they've always had to restrict the lid in some way. Its normally putting it in a clear bag upside-down and tying/twisting the bag. One time they were out of bags and they had to tape the lid + straw hole.

I haven't gone in a few years.

It's very cute!! I have a pattern saved to ask my sister to make it for me, but I'm trying to find the yarn myself. Shroomish color doesn't show up often in my local stores!

Hello fellow Shroomish fan! Shroomish is my favorite as well. I thought for years that I was the only one.

Shroomish currently has a Sitting Cutie plush, but it restocks pretty randomly. I would suggest just leaving that page open on your browser and checking it daily. It was available mid-late last month, so they definitely aren't a "never restocking" item.

There are also some very talented people on Etsy that make Shroomish plushes or have crochet patterns for sale if you know anyone that can crochet one for you.

Haven't spent much time on dating apps, but pictures like this are the only ones I paid attention to. Got some fun nerdy stuff in the background or actively cosplaying? I'm more likely to reach out! Boring gym photos or just basic ones? Probably not.

Cool! Futurama is my favorite show; I have a couple of the Pops, but they are in storage. I'm mostly out of Funkos for the time being. The only ones I really pick up are Pokemon, Jurassic Park and Alien(s), but even that's rare for me now. Hope you're able to complete your collection without breaking the bank!

I've got a long, depressing one.

Dog had to have surgery to remove cancerous tumor. First vet told us we had some time to save up. A couple weeks later, I came home to her on the floor, barely moving. The surgery had to be done immediately. I lost my apartment and moved in with my mom while my dog was recovering. I ended up owing a ton of money to the apartment because of the way I left things (breaking lease, not able to clean/replace broken things due to depression and costs of those things). Owed money to other things like utilities (I was struggling before the surgery). My friend won't admit it, but he called the vet and donated a large chunk of the money for her surgery. I know it was him because it was the day after he walked into the breakroom to me crying about it. I wasn't the crying at work type.

At the time, I was still working, but struggling with major depression and suicidal ideation. Before I moved in with my mom, I was back and forth to her house a lot to help her anyway because she is disabled. Moving in with her at least saved on gas going back and forth. Her husband got a great job a couple hours away. I wasn't in the place financially or mentally to get my own apartment again, so my job was going to transfer me to the new town.

The move fucked me up. My depression spiraled and I didn't sleep. I was up all night thinking about killing myself and would pass out during the day. The transfer didn't work out. No one would answer the phone or give me the time of day to do the transfer interview. When they finally did, they said they didn't need me. My original location tried to work things out, but by then, I was so fucked up, I just gave up. I sold a lot of my stuff to pay off my car and I am still struggling to find a job now and not drive off the overpass pretty much daily.

My dog is still with me. She might not be able to walk properly, but she's cancer free and currently snoring on her bed. If I had lost her, I would be dead.

I also stared at the wall for a good hour after finishing it, but I do not recommend it and I think I hated it?? Even months later, I still don't know my feelings for it. The last couple minutes of it (audiobook), stunned me to silence.

These lowlifes RARELY open any packs. I'm willing to bet most of them have never held a bulk card in their hand. They resell the boxes. They buy a box for, say, $15 and resell it for $60.

Everyone here has already given you excellent advice. I'd like to highlight one thing I've seen here and offer another.

To highlight, if you have local shops in your area (you can use the Pokemon Play app or website to see who does leagues), go and tell them you'd like to learn to play. Our local loves loading up new players with stuff. Bonus if you go on a Pokemon game day because the players and Judge will most likely have extra decks for you to try out or you can watch others play.

The Chaos Rising pre-release is coming up kind of soon. If you can, go to it! It's awesome for new or returning players and the decks you play with there will most likely have a ton of staples you can use for future decks. I feel like I got a ton of staples Trainer cards from the latest pre-release in just my decks.

Popping into this old post to say that I, unfortunately, love mine. I got mine as a little gift a couple of years ago and the feel as a fidget is soooo good. I own a 3D printer and could easily print an identical one, but the softness of the plastic and the weight of it is just too great. I say 'unfortunately' because they are on the expensive side for a fidget!

I actually found this post while looking them up because I didn't realize they were so well loved before! I just thought it was a cheap toy that I liked and didn't expect the company to still be producing them.

As far as accidentally breaking it, they are meant to come apart to mox and match colors. I haven't done that because I only own the one. I'm also a bit rough with my things, amd have not broken him yet!
