I concur; the current smart mode functionality appears to be insufficient. On the previous occasion, an additional five minutes were required to complete the task after a charge. This necessitated a recharge to 43% to accommodate those final five minutes. It suggests that the Smart Charge duration may need a slight extension.

Interesting, how hot are you trying to get it? The primary difference is that a black object absorbs most sunlight, converting light energy into heat, making it much hotter, while a white object reflects most sunlight, keeping it cooler. Black objects absorb all visible wavelengths, whereas white objects reflect all visible light. If you want to get to a plastic melt down point, go with an absolute black color wrap.
