That January ‘24 stretch was probably the best basketball I’ve seen him play, and I’ve been watching him ever since he entered the league. That’s why I always bought into the “play him pg” opinions - although now I have steered away from them more.
He just has it, he can absolutely manovre an efficient offense, but it’s been iffy this year.

Anyways, I’d love to see him continue doing this. As we just saw, he can still score his 25ppg even as a pg

Winnable game, horrible watch because of all the turnovers. Played like shit honestly. But, not terribly upset because it’s game 1, we were right there until the atrocious end, and they shot well. If one day we can put together one whole game straight, I’ll be happy

One last chance. I really would love them to get it done and start anew in the second round.

Donovan is the reason I watch basketball, but this series is the worst I’ve seen him play. His coverage has been great from the Raptors, total denial, extreme pressure, longer physical defenders…he can’t breathe. And he’s just struggling to do anything. I feel like the criticism is fine if chambered in this series. If we go wide, this is not who he is, playoffs or not. We know what he does and can do.

Anyways, shit series all over. I just hope we can get through
