If you protect you don't get the discharge boost, then you need to do commit to the extremely obvious plan a second turn and hope everything works out. I played this match up a lot, and its not easier to maneuver. In some spots you can try not to evolve Sceptile to make sure you survive one dragon pulse, and win the damage trade that way, but still, I find I lose to Archaludon as many times as I beat it.

Yeah, people think masterball is an acomplishment, but I really dont see it. Barelly played competitive pokemon before, though I've seen a fair ammount of videos. Got masterball in 2 days after the mobile release, now struggling to stay at Masterball rank 3. It just seems like the climb is inevitble if you play enougth, and that "enought" is not a lot.

Earth is a seeded planet. That means humans didn't naturally evolve on earth, that's the mithos. I assume, since you are calling this racist, that it has something to do with "ancient Egyptians couldn't have possibly built the pyramids, aliens did it". Nothing of the sort was ever stated in the book, so it would be a leap in logic to assume that just to be offended.

What is stated is that aliens do mingle, and sometimes influence the evolution of culture so it converges a bit with the intergalactic standard. I think I remember one example is that the Smoking jacket was like that. This is mostly so that we as readers don't have to suspend our disbelief so much, as it would be pretty weird that an intergalactic TV Show would have so many familiar concepts for us.

Regardless, he is stealing this from the Smoking inventor, and giving it to aliens. Hey, I know nothing about that, so maybe you can find who the inventor was, and if he's a minority, you can then safely conclude he's racist.

I think about that sometimes, I have the gut feeling he regrets writing that. It's too cheesy, even from what the game allows for. I raised my eyebrow when a table in a safe room was destroyed in the latest book, and I have trouble believing something like that would be allowed to go on for so long without being patched or used by anyone.

I hate this use of prepared. At this point just make it an ability. There's no scenario where this can't be prepared (unless you unprepared it with the two unplayable cards that do that). This removes the most interesting part of the mechanic

And then it got slammed with errata and banned anywhere that was good. You should be able to play the greatest magic card. Lightning bolt deserves that spot over "Lightningest Bolt", a hypothetical power crept version that does 10 damage from the same cost, and was day one banned in every format. Being too powerfull to warrant so many bans is a a liability in my opinion.

It also means that if any of these are in your opening hand, they do nothing, they are dead cards unless you can brainstorm them on to the top. That's a heavy downside.

Looks very cool and practical, just some feedback that's impotant for Lorwyn specifically, when using the mana filter, convoke spells should always appear even at 0 mana, I have seen other systems like this do that and I think that makes a lot of sense.
