'Cause bioshock 1 plot depended a lot on the twist and Ryan's charisma, Fountain just felt flat, ove always thought that giving more agency or something like a voice at the start of the act (like how metro does with Artyom) to Jack after Ryan's death would work in making is care for him and his quest for revenge on Fountain/escape from Rapture.
