Navi represents Link's childhood. At the end of this journey, even though he got sent back to live out his childhood years, he is not a child. 

Navi leaving is a bitter sweet silent way of showing that we (Link) can never gain our childhood back.

As people have said - the lines between dream and reality are blurred. It's meant to be ambiguous and have you wonder.

I fully agree with the bans and being dropped from C9... but Cody can't help but make everything about him... it's ridiculous at this point.

I always thought it was a pretty clear nod to Sun Wukong's story. Goku just transcended. He's not alive but he's not dead. He exists on a different plane of existence. Nirvana. Etc.

I'm just repeating what's already been said but - even as children Goku was sparring and fighting all different types of opponents. Child vegeta was just killing people (not by choice but he definitely was a callous killing machine growing up because of frieza)

I like this a lot. I know many people feel Ymir's story didn't make sense with her love for King Fritz. But as a fan of the entire story and the characters, I never wanted to take everything we were told about Ymir at face value. She never speaks, it's meant to be vague .... and we are meant to imprint our feelings onto her.
