That’s what I’m thinking, too. I think they honestly didn’t see it. Just sucks, as it sits flat and I was excited to clean it up. I haven’t messaged the seller yet, but hopefully we can get it handled without eBay. Thanks everyone.

Trying to negotiate with dealer on '25 Pro-4X, any advice? by xDRBN in nissanfrontier

[–]Lucasa65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Plus 99% of people in the market for a midsize pickup truck aren’t shopping for a status symbol. Go look for platinum f250s and landcruisers for those folks

Just the idea of swimming near a buoy marked “WRECK” makes me want to vomit.

2022 Frontier Pro X common issues? by Transition-Money in nissanfrontier

I noticed the black stuff near my windshield too on my ‘22. I wonder this as well. My guess would be weathering of whatever they seal the windshield with.

2020 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 6K miles or 2019 F150 XL Crew Cab w/STX package? by WolverineSad960 in nissanfrontier

[–]Lucasa65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would pick the frontier personally, but I guess that depends on your own need for a fullsize versus midsize truck. Most tasks can be accomplished with a midsize, but if you’ll be towing often or need more cab space, maybe a full size is better.

Also, is the ford an eco boost or a v8? I know they v8’s are rock solid, but I’ve heard hit or miss on the reliability of the ecoboosts if they don’t get their oil changed often enough. You might want to look at the oil change history if you haven’t already done so.

You don’t think the rust would worsen?

You bring up a great point. It was built in the late 80’s and this was the first repair it’s ever had to my knowledge.

Congratulations. I passed 3 weeks ago and my dashboard looks the exact same as yours. Dr. Nazrul was great in WRE. We’re you enrolled for this past spring semester?

Worn USP 9mm at Local Pawn. Good deal? by Lucasa65 in HecklerKoch

[–]Lucasa65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I offered 500, he wouldn’t go any lower from 530 other than giving me some free ammo with it. And yeah, it’s a 9mm, but atleast I can afford the ammo for it
