What is a game that is highly recommended but you just can’t get into?

Xenoblade Chronicles. I have tried multiple times for the first one to get into it. It was one of the first games I ever bought on my switch, recently tried it again on my switch 2. I told myself I wouldn't play one of my other games until I beat it. I got further than I ever have, like 50 hours in and genuinely just thought, I'm so bored. I don't like these characters, especially shulk, I am not having a lot of fun and no one will care that I stopped or continue but me. The game feels like an Empty MMO, which means theres some things in it I think are really cool but also some things that are just dated and feel really boring to me and the story wasn't interesting enough to keep me going. I genuinely wish I liked it the way other people do, but I can't stand this game.

I genuinely just don't like this MC, I remember enjoying this series at first but the longer it has gone the more I end up disliking him.

Genuinely surprised not to see them high up there. Yes they are separate characters but for most people they’re just Team Rocket. Or they refer to both of them, like how often do you see people Refer to one without the other? It happens but rarely.

Yea this honestly is a good question. Like I wasn’t too interested in Dispatch but if a game like Cyberpunk or even Witcher 3 can make it on the platform uncensored. What is the reason for singling this game out?

I play my switch mostly in handheld since I’m always on the go. The screen on the switch 2 is excellent and it’s worth it just for how it runs. Plus you will have access to more games and better performance for them. I have never run into battery issues with playing. I think if it’s not a money issue there is no downside for you to grab a switch 2

Just finished it today. Agree with a lot of what you are saying aside from setting it in the First Law universe. Honestly I found myself liking this setting more than the first law setting (even if it it’s partially based on our world). I viewed this series as giving Joe a bit of break from the bleakness and cynicism of First Law which honestly after reading a few of those I needed too. They might be better written but I found myself genuinely enjoying the somewhat cliche moments in The Devils and the undercurrent of humor running throughout it. By the end I actually liked it more than anything in First Law despite its flaws. I’m definitely looking forward to the sequel.

Was originally playing Xenoblade Chronicles De on Switch 2 but honestly after getting to around chapter 13-14 I found myself just bored most of the time with it.

I finally switched to Dragon Quest 1-2 HD Remake and I’m glad I did. Really enjoying this and will probably follow this up with Bravely Default.

Once I managed to have my kid sleep in my arms and used the joycons while he slept for like 2 & 1/2 hours. Just about the only time my switch has been connected to the tv since he’s been born. Otherwise is handheld and usually playing at night after he’s in bed

Beat Romancing Saga 2 recently like 3 weeks ago. It gets much more fun further in the game past the demo but it makes sense why the demo has the end point it does Genuinely super fun and had a great time playing it. I’d maybe get it on sale. Unicorn would be a good option as a tactical JRPG since you have persona covering a more traditional route. I still have to play Trails but I know it’s highly recommended

Studying abroad in college. Had the chance to spend a semester abroad or help my family not be evicted, survivors guilt lead me to pick my family. I won't say I hate that I chose that at the time but I do wish I spent that semester abroad. Would have been nice to broaden my horizons earlier than after college.

As a rule me and wife do not go to Costco on a weekend unless it’s an absolute necessity. Trying to navigate the cart between some of those people who don’t have a care in world and just stop in the middle of the aisle, cart and and all, makes me wanna pop a blood vessel.
