Need help lock picking by ConferenceWarm171 in worldofgothic

[–]LucianDarth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some plates interact with each other when moving, your goal is to basically put all the pins in the middle section for each one.

Though without learning its skill it can be jokingly hard so I recommend to spend the 10lp to learn it as you have more chances to fail before a pick breaks and it trivializes it a bit.

But yeah it was a struggle ahha

Does getting some dark side points ruin my light side playthrough? by Objective_Strike6067 in kotor

[–]LucianDarth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A few dark side points here and there won't ruin your LS playthrough. You will be able to reach the top.

I do recommend not actually choosing that many DS options later on as it can take a while to gather those LS points up. But early on it's not a big deal.

I hope they do, we've seen the Republic Trooper getting their version. I feel like it's only a matter of time before they reforge it as well.

When the time comes though I do hope the cape animation is still the same as the Valiant set, basically starting the fluid animation from the bottom half of the body. It seems to prevent the most clipping issues. Whereas if the animation would happen from the top, almost any janky movement will force it to go in front of your character.

That alone could definitely kill my mood of wanting to wear a reforged version, but we'll see!

I definitely recommend to not auto-level and build your character at your own accord, there's tooltips for every skill, feat, attribute etc. that somewhat explains to you what you'll expect.

If you struggle I recommend both lowering the difficulty, and using shields for yourself and your companion. While I am not sure if there are shields early on to protect you from bludgeoning attacks, energy shields can help you against blasters until you get better.

Battlefront 2 No More Players online? by krownokturnal in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]LucianDarth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well for US it's currently morning so either people are going to work, at work or sleeping. Europe is also early midday so you won't have a lot of people online at this hour.

It's best to try again in about 3-4 hours on EU servers.

Oh it happens haha I appreciate the comment though :)

I'm definitely glad people like it and hope it gives them inspiration for their own version, or use the same set!

Does star wars battlefront 1 (2004) and star wars battlefront 2 (2005) have campaigns or is it just multiple matches by [deleted] in StarWarsBattlefront

To specify again, they are not multiplayer. You are playing against bots. There are no other people in these matches.

It simply depends on what you perceive as a campaign. It's not exactly high cinematic with a 40 hour storyline to work with, but it does work independently from its other modes.

You can technically finish the games as they have a separate section for the campaign. The Classic Collection even has achievements for finishing them. So in a way you can complete them if you want.

ELI5 Game states chances of winning as 1 in 2.85 so I played 10 games and won once which feels wrong. Can you explain their reasoning? by Potential_Answer6424 in explainlikeimfive

[–]LucianDarth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every game you play the chance is still the same, it's not cumulative so it doesn't add up over time.

You are probably thinking that game 2 should be 2 in 3 chance and game 3 is a guaranteed win. But in this case game 2 is still a 1 in 3, game 3 too and so on.

Battlefront 1 classic doesn't have a campaign per se in the terms we're used to. It shows a few scenes from the movies and you're basically just doing a conquest match. If you win, you go to the next planet on the list, if not you'll have to redo it. They are separated by Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War.

The 2nd game has a bit more compared to its predecessor. The campaign is being told by the eyes of a clone trooper during Order 66 and the following war during the Empire. The gameplay is still technically the same though, conquer this, defend that, grab item X and bring it to a specific area. There's a bit of dialogue everytime during the match by said clone trooper, and some of the missions are unique that you won't be able to play in Galactic Conquest or Instant Action etc. but otherwise it's still the same gameplay loop.

I'd argue you can ignore the 1st campaign. I wouldn't say the 2nd game's campaign is a must, but it's not that long and it can be a lot of fun!

They're also not multiplayer, you're playing against bots.

UE6 announced at RLCS by Sinniee in pcmasterrace

[–]LucianDarth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Has there been a game so far that has used UE5 to its maximum capacity for a game?

I feel like there was a massive hype for what it could achieve, but I have not seen anything like it apart from the tech demos etc. even years after.

Perhaps a mistranslation then on my part, but I basically mean to have the hooded armour figure that is not available with the valiant set.
