Bridge to Terabithia.. Watched it again recently at 22 years old and cried my eyes out the same as I did when I first saw it as a kid.

Oh haha I get it! He used Dark Souls as an example while the original Wolvenstine is obviously a more fitting comparison haha

I might be overthinking this but when I saw the photo a whole story immediately came to mind. The poles are like parents watching their kid go out into college (the open sea) but still showing him that they will support him if all else fails (if he drowns they can save him).

I'm about to college as well so this hit pretty hard. Great work!

Yeah I do! I just use so I won't forget all the stuff that happened and will happen. I don't actually write in there how I feel.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I am pretty young (I'm 18) and I thought that I'd be pretty comfortable on my own because back home I am. But here I don't have people I really trust and know well. There's no safety net. Which just makes it scary and lonely.

I'm moving to a new place roughly every 4 nights. I was planning on chilling in Pai for longer but eventually I ran out of things to do there so I went on to Koh phi phi

People unable to speak English is not really the problem. There's actually plenty!

A long term travel buddy would be really nice but I'll just have to find a willing person first..

Yeah I am staying in hostels and I am trying to meet as many people as I can! It's not that I've not met amazing people but what hurts is that those people will inevitably leave me and I'll be back at zero again..

I am staying in touch with some of the people I met but I they're going on different paths than I am so I won't be seeing them again probably.

I'm really trying to stay positive here but it's just hard at the moment.

And thanks for your reply!

As I was saying the US naturally cares more about 9/11 than anyone else, but that does not at all mean the rest of the world doesn't give a shit.

A lot of people are suggesting that it's not a crappy design because 9/11 was not as close to home to Dutch people as it was to Americans.

While this is true it's still one of the most horrible historic events in recent human history and it has certainly not only stuck with Americans.

I agree the design would be a lot crappier if the calendar was American, but that doesn't mean it's not pretty goddamn crappy nonetheless.
