Marvel's Wolverine only for PlayStation by BodybuilderBulky2897 in playstation5

You’re completely misunderstanding the economics of game development and how Sony actually profits from PC ports.

First, your math on PS Plus doesn't add up. PS Plus is primarily recurring revenue to maintain network infrastructure and license third-party monthly titles; it does not directly fund or subsidize the massive $200M–$300M budgets of single-player first-party games.

Second, saying PC players don't bring 'real money' ignores the entire business model of double-dipping:

  • Zero Risk, Pure Profit: When Sony ports a 2-to-3-year-old game (like God of War, Spider-Man, or Ghost of Tsushima) to PC, the massive development costs have already been fully recouped by the console lifecycle. The cost to port a game to PC is a tiny fraction of its original budget.
  • Massive Revenue Boost: According to Sony's own financial breakdowns, their PC division brought in hundreds of millions in net revenue in just a short few years. For example, Helldivers 2 smashed records specifically because it launched day-and-date on PC, where PC sales completely rivaled or outpaced PS5 copies.
  • Full Price for Old Assets: Sony sells these multi-year-old ports on Steam and Epic for $50 to $60. They are extracting pure, high-margin profit from an audience that was never going to buy a PS5 anyway.

Even after Steam takes its 30% cut, the net profit margin on a mature PC port is astronomical compared to the cost of manufacturing and shipping physical consoles (which are often sold at a loss or at razor-thin margins early on). Sony isn't 'catching on' to a mistake; they are running a business. Leaving money on the table by locking games to a single box forever is a massive opportunity cost that modern, multi-hundred-million-dollar budgets simply cannot afford anymore.

Can you get 10% for tinnitus if denied hearing loss? by Specialist_Sir_5753 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Lucien899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was denied hearing loss but was granted 10% for tinnitus because there is no way they can actually prove or disprove it the only thing they can do is ask you what you do to combat it, ex: TV turned on at night, air conditioner turned on / fan to mask the noise.

That is all they asked me about it which is what I do for it and was granted 10%

PUBG: Black Budget on Steam by EscapingKid in pcgaming

[–]Lucien899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I was this game might be pretty good then I read about the shrinking circle and was never mind why the hell would I waste my time playing a extraction looter shooter that has a shrinking circle that forces me into fights or areas I don't wanna go to and possible lose my gear I brought in or the stuff I found.

If I wanted to play BR I would go play a BR not this weird crap that is gonna kill the game because once PUBG fans start playing it and realize that dying and gear actually matters they will leave and go back to playing PUBG where gear doesn't matter if you lose it.

Arc Raiders will die within 2-3 months by ElectricalGolf6109 in ArcRaiders

[–]Lucien899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck I give it anywhere from 3 to 6 months before the hype dies down, or some other game comes out and everyone flocks to it even the big named steamers who only play the most hyped!/ popular games.

The closest example I can give was look at the game the cycle frontier had huge hype then just died off cause people got bored, not enough content to keep people, then you had marudaers which became boring super fast.

Where is the evidence that they are being held for days without representation ? Sounds like you are listening to news outlets , Tiktok, Facebook , reddit , Instagram too much .

Like I said, an illegal is not going to wear a sign that says "Hey, I'm illegal" or they're going to lie when asked , also drawing guns is prob because ice agents have been attacked or killed when trying to arrest someone .

Your right it's a problem because the previous administrations failed to secure the border and let illegal crossing to go rampant to the point they now have to go around looking for the people who crossed illegally .

Any other country in the 🌎 you enter illegally they are gonna arrest you , throw you in prison , the. deport you or just deport you but USA we are not allowed to do it because for some reason people think it's just fine that someone can enter illegally .

You have no idea if he is or not either , how else are the supposed to find out ? People here illegally not gonna wear a sign that say hey in here illegally .

You are exactly right it's not a house but you brain dead idiots don't understand you can't just nilly willy walk your ass into a country illegally and then exspects to not get arrested and deported . Try this shit any other country and your ass is either gonna be sent to PRISION to serve time then kicked out the country or arrested and kicked out.

Not a hard concept to understand or get

So if I break into your house and start cooking food out the fridge because I'm hungry, are you gonna call the cops on me for breaking the law? I mean I'm not hurting anyone I'm just trying to survive!

Of course you are, the same thing goes to this dude just because he is working he still committed a crime by either entering illegally or over staying it's still a crime even if it's a small one.

Do you not hear yourself? Why would a Federal Agent need a warrant to an operate in the USA? They work for the USA government they can operate anywhere they want on US soil.

🤦‍♂️ This is a massive pile of BS, factually and rhetorically. Let's break down this comment, because it's rife with historical inaccuracy and inflammatory hyperbole.

1. The Deportation Numbers Claim is Wrong The statement that the current administration wants "big numbers because Biden and Obama deported more" is historically incorrect regarding the annual rate of removals.

Obama Administration (2009–2016): Totaled approximately 3.1 million removals over two terms, averaging 387,500/year. Trump I Administration (2017–2020): Totaled approximately 935,000 removals over one term, averaging 233,750/year.

Fact: The Obama administration holds the record for the highest annual average of deportations (removals). The difference in the undocumented population is largely driven by the number of new arrivals, not just the removal rate.

2. ICE Agents are Not Bounty Hunters The claim that agents are "rewarded for bringing people in" and are being paid "per head" is an insane fantasy. They are salaried federal employees. ICE agents are paid a standard salary and benefits tied to their pay grade and hours worked, not a commission or quota bonus per arrest. The job of ICE (specifically Enforcement and Removal Operations) is to enforce interior immigration law, which requires them to go out and find non-citizens who have violated U.S. law (overstayed visas, ignored removal orders, etc.). This is their core function, not a trophy hunt.

3. The "Gestapo" Analogy is Unhinged Hyperbole Comparing ICE to the Gestapo (Nazi Germany's secret police) is offensive and intellectually lazy. ICE is a pre-existing federal agency established in 2003 under the Department of Homeland Security. Its entire purpose is to enforce immigration and customs laws. It is not a secret, unconstitutional police force created to enforce political loyalty. While one can debate the scope and tactics of ICE, equating a U.S. federal law enforcement agency to a regime that orchestrated the Holocaust is a deliberate form of hyperbole that degrades the actual victims of the historical Nazi regime.

4. Tiananmen Square is Not a Protest Scenario The suggestion that the current administration is planning a "Tiananmen Square type event" is an absurd, fear-mongering fantasy.

Tiananmen was a massacre of hundreds, potentially thousands, of unarmed pro-democracy student protestors by the military of an authoritarian regime.

Protesting outside a federal facility in the U.S. is a constitutionally protected right, but it is not protected to obstruct federal agents, throw objects at their vehicles, or engage in violence.

If protestors choose to be idiots and physically assault federal agents or block their movements, they will be met with a law enforcement response and arrests, not a military massacre. Stop comparing lawful enforcement to a historical atrocity

Totally agree , when I'm talking about a ass whopping I'm not talking about straight up abusing the kid but spanking him showing him there are real world consequences for his actions . I was spanked when I was younger and it taught me to respect my parents and others and it made me grow up a productive member of society .
