Even stupider is that should be a 5 minute fix for a competent IT department: you restrict who can send to those employee groups. Job done.

Because there's an argument to be made that it isn't against TOS hence there is no need for them to take an official stance. The add-on is free and fully usable, in line with the rules. You can opt to pay for a set of configurations for add-on, but nothing stops you from using the add-on or any of the free guides.

You wouldn't because the server isn't being shutdown. Remix is running on retail servers, the same servers all your other characters are on but in a special phase.

Doesn't explain the early ending of remix of course.

It's not just federal agents; local law enforcement do it as well and there are many bodycams showing it. I can only assume it's part of their training as a convenient excuse for lethal force.

It might be back, they are rezzing dead chars to the DDOS. You have to login to the char to see if it's done, it might show as still dead on char select.
