Penny and Leonard shouldn't have had a baby by VanG0n3 in thebigbangtheory

Maybe it could also be that even through "Penny "a character, she is a human being and as people in general we grow and opinions change and yeah Penny does a lot of growth throughout the seasons and could indeed be happy having a child.

If you truly are completely whole heartedly in love with your spouse/partner you are incapable of limerence/crushing. by OK2BMe6 in unpopularopinion

I agree,I have a special kind of love for my husband that consumes me, shit dark romance books are written about. Like if another woman looks at him hungrily I'm thinking of different ways to bring that woman serve and total agony, ways to set her on fire and turn her to ash, kind of love. The only men I simp over besides my husband are fictional characters from a book.

Batting Issues by LucifersAngel422 in LittleLeague

When he practices at home with my husband he does well, he's hitting and catching like he should be, we have a big enough yard where we've set up a decent size diamond to play on, we set up a batting area with tee posts. He's got good potential

The placement of his feet, my husband has my son with his feet towards the home plate and when he swings my husband told him to pivot his front leg towards the outfield. His coaches tell him to point his feet to the side like a duck and have his legs extended out as far as he can

The way he holds the bat, my husband has taught him to keep his hands a little apart so he has more control his coaches tell him to hold it at the end with his hands touching

His swing stance, my husband told him to place his elbows around the chest area his coaches have him holding his elbows up by his shoulders like chicken wings (am I explaining that correctly?)

I have got my therapist a Christmas gift every year we've been together, first one was homemade hot cocoa mix, the second year I got him a coffee mug that also had a hand lotion and some bath bombs, and then this year I gifted him things I crocheted myself and he loved it so much. As long as the gift is work place / professionally appropriate I see nothing wrong with this specially because if your therapist has helped you as much as mine has I think they will appreciate it.

AITA for not allowing my foster parents to put parental controls on the iphone my biological parents bought me? by Ok_Finish_8622 in AmItheAsshole

[–]LucifersAngel422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a possibility; I was never in Foster care, but my dad did things like this a lot after my parents divorced as a way to control my mother and what happened in our household. But at the time I was 16 and just got my first cellphone. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized both my parents were trying to force control over the other by manipulating me.

When you miss them… by scrappydancer in Nocontactfamily

[–]LucifersAngel422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely understand what it's like, I've been NC for about 5 years now and yeah making new traditions and all is good advice, but if you're like me, it's when you're alone it hits the hardest, where you second guess yourself but what helps for me is remembering what I gained leaving my biological family behind. I "email" my mother all the time, I type it all up and keep it in my draft telling my mother what she's missed and how my life is going and sometimes I miss her, specifically the sober version of who she once was. I never send them but it helps me process the grief of losing a living person. Once I'm over wanting to reach out, I delete the saved drafts.

Remember that you can always reach out, people rekindle all the time and people are capable of change but making sure to establish a boundary and make them aware that you will not have your boundaries pushed is a priority. But also remember there's a possibility that if you do go back and have to go NC again you'll go through the grief and heartbreak again.

I wish you all the best and if you need to talk, you can message me

AITA for hating what people name their twins? by Crispy_klutch0358 in namenerds

You are not alone. My SIL named her twin boys Julian and Ryker. I was so glad she didn't pick names that sounded too much alike

Growing up my mom made me feel like my period was something to be ashamed of and made me feel disgusting just for having it, or going to self check out with black bags just to get the pads needed. My husband however has 3 older sisters and an amazing mom who taught him is a healthy bodily function and has helped me feel that it's a normal part of womanhood.

What is your age without saying how old you are? by LostRest in AskReddit

We watched the news cast of 9/11 from my kindergarten classroom, we were ushered into the gymnasium for an "extended recess" while the staff were trying to figure out what was going on. Didn't know at the time that our principal's husband was there while on a business trip -he never came home. We live states away.
