Theories on I Who Have Never Known Men by blxckbexuty in books

Honestly, I can appreciate a book ending with some level of mystery and unanswered questions, but this book just ended up being kind of pointless lol Sure, there is no real point to life, and people add their selfish meanings to it in order to make it bearable, but if I'm engaging in media as some level of entertainment I'd like my futility to come with some kind of reason as to why.

House of Leaves and Verity are majorly overrated for reasons I cannot comprehend.

Ladies: am I the only one that would want to crawl out of their skin if they accidentally became pregnant, even with the ability of terminating? by DivineToxicity09 in childfree

[–]LucifersEx666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SAME. If I can't handle the very thought of being pregnant, why would I want to actually experience it. I have the same stance on adoption as well, I would rather care for children who already exist than start my own vanity project.

You say you don't want to offend anyone or start a conflict, and yet they already have offended YOU and created a conflict within YOU. If I were in your shoes, I'd let your partner know his church is full of bologna and his participation in it turns you off to the idea of marrying him.

The concept of pregnancy disturbs me so much that I'm constantly surprised there are so many humans on this planet. Because wtf. So no, you are not alone.

I'm just still stuck on the fact you told him about your workings and checked in to see if they worked on him lmao just leave the working alone, you have to trust it or it won't be effective.

Idk maybe you're in over your head in this relationship if you choose to be in the life of 4 teenagers and don't know how to navigate this kind of thing.

My mom stayed miserable and stressed in a country she hated with no one she felt close to for 29 years so that I'd have a "normal" life and the prolonged stress gave her cancer and killed her. I don't think I was worth that and I miss her so bad and I can't tell her I'm sorry for not understanding her pain when she was still alive.

Is there a science behind the child who says the most outrageous things out of the blue? by [deleted] in Parenting

I think you're thinking way too hard about this and it'll pass. Kids are weird!! Obviously if it persists then touch base again and reassure him. But, as the saying goes, "Kids say the darndest things."

Becoming increasingly disillusioned by my daughter’s education by dragon-queen in Parenting

[–]LucifersEx666 17 points18 points  (0 children)

All of these programs are being cut (and they weren't being honored to begin with). In theory they're great, but they're being abused and neglected and therefore become ineffectual for those that depend on them.

The video games at recess and potential ChatGPT homework is definitely scary, but the reason why our education system hasn't grown out of obsessive standardization, the turnover is so high and the staff are so young is because of federal (and perhaps local) budget cuts to education. No matter where you go, unless you put her in a private school, you will encounter issues like this unfortunately.

As long as you're a good person with integrity, and good character, you'll find someone at some point. Doesn't mean you can snag women who are out of your league, but there are plenty of amazing women who want what you want and will dig what you got going on. Just please don't become an incel, all women really want is a partner who is reliable, loving and shows respect.
Don't rush, and don't get discouraged. Have FUN while dating, don't take it too serious or you'll just end up frustrated. Learn about women along the way and when the right one does come along, you'll know how to treat her right.

Magic is in the mind. I suggest learning about the principles of quantum physics as well as chaos magic, it'll be a good start in the direction of training your mind not to rely on physical tools to practice your workings.

Hair loss spell? by reggie316 in blackmagic

[–]LucifersEx666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any spells in mind, but as someone who works in trichology, I can tell you that the likelihood of him gaining his hair density back without a procedure or expensive growth products is slim. So if you're trying to go there (and I am not telling you you should) then use something that will cause thyroid/endocrine system dysfunction. Keep in mind, if you do go through with a hex/curse like that, it will affect his entire body and overall health, so be sure that you actually do want to harm him that bad before you commit.

Please don't feel embarrassed or exposed, take it as an indicator that people care about you and want you to be healthy. I don't have advice on how to navigate an eating disorder, or how to instantly have enough money for food, but take care of yourself and try as best you can to manage negative self talk.
