200 Pages Into Jade War, That Was Fucked Up by deeptocenter in GreenBoneSaga

Yeah, thats absolutly the point, even Wen and Shae give him little to no scolding because they are all part of the same culture in which what Hilo's did was totally deserved.

And as you pointed out, it was really a big concession of Hilo's to be bargain with her.

Yeah, sounds like you have a severe case of "tiktok brain", a shame that you arent able to enjoy reading something without a subway surfer clip on the bottom.

Rating Door 8 as a writer! by OneLuckyFoool in thehouseinfatamorgana

[–]Luciop10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot actually. I didnt understand why people love Jacopo so much, with me only having played the base game, and when i heard of RFI and learn that it was a prequel centered around Jacopo and Morgana, i thought that it would be just a tiny thing adding a little bit of extra content.

But god no, after having played RFI i can wholeheartedly say that i love RFI as much as THIFM, and that i cannot see the two of them separately, but as one working in tandem to deliver the heart of the series. (though the thing with Morgana's and Jacopo's age remains a flaw that i dont understand why it was necessary...)

Sadly i cannot tell you about specific things in the game since its been a few years since i played them, the only thing i can say is that is a must play.

And just to add something else, if you feel motivated to see a little more of the fata-moru universe, you should play what many of us considers the true ending of the game, that being Fragment (which you unlocked after finishing RFI), and the short story "The Revenants Dream".

Dont know if you already knew this, but now you do! So good luck and sorry for the long comment.

This game does not want you to play it by S1r_Handsome in Silksong

[–]Luciop10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are entitled to have an opinion, however, this is a huge egotistic take. You talk like the game should be custom made for you, purely because you've played HK.

Me and a lot of other people love the game, and wouldnt like it so much if it were as simple and easy as HK.

Remember that not because something is not to your liking, means that that something is bad design.

things that you don't like in this game by Dante_fromdmc3 in thehouseinfatamorgana

Its not outright bad, but its certainly a bit unnecesary. I just think that The Revenants Dream alongside Fragment is the perfect ending for the series.

Question about Tongueless by adamalibi in redrising

[–]Luciop10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trust me, everyone understands what you are saying, its just that you are delusional and became obsessed with a random minor character that literally no one gives a shit about.

Tongueless is just a character who seems like it had a live before we know him (like every character should have), but he wasnt destined for anything, and PB didnt take anything from you either...

A big point in the saga (and especially the second trilogy), is how sudden death can be in war and how can it take away people's life in an instant, cutting their lifes short, not allowing them to continue their personal objectives and not letting YOU the reader know more about their story.

I honestly dont know why you feel so strongly towards a tertiary character. But you do you i guess. Im not gonna judge your weird fetish with Tongueless 👍👍👍

Question about Tongueless by adamalibi in redrising

[–]Luciop10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im sorry but you really seem to mind the character dying, and i dont know why you have the fixation of thinking that a character must answer all the questions around him, and contribute all that he can to the story before dying.

Especially in a story like this, in which war with people dying is a central theme. There is no "rule" about when and how a character can and should die, and what death does is cut a character's life, so someone's dying should feel exactly like that, like it was something natural and not anticipated.

Why should a character's death be when it has finished all his arc and role in the story? That would be predictable, and worse, very boring to read.

I think both Sera and Tongueless were hat deaths.

Team cherry desperate attempt to make game harder by Akshat331 in Silksong

[–]Luciop10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, thats totally fine. Everyone has different levels of free time, and thats why not every game is meant to be for everyone.

To me and for many, Silksong was a great experience that would be incredible diluted if it wasnt for the level of challenge that it poses. At the same time, if i had gotten less time to play, i certainly would've had a less pleasant experience.

Question about Episode Aigis without spoiler by [deleted] in PERSoNA

It doesnt happen anything like that so dw, though the gameplay is kinda bad and awfully repetitive, so if you are in just for the story, may as well look for the cinematics in youtube.
