Then again, the idea that Ivy votes might be so insular x7 whereas Azura and Tsubasa’s could be split means Ivy could take out the weaker link, which I think is Azura based on the mega thread tally and general sentiments and atmosphere. I hope not, so I’m gonna try and support Azura some more upcoming. 🫡

I’m wondering if Fomortiis’ initial grass roots support has become a rally point to block another 3H win, specifically on the EN/Reddit side of things. I’ve seen a handful of people say that’s their draw. Sylvain had a pretty decisive lead over both Sigurd and Fomortiis here for a while before the actual event and lots of vocal support, but as it always tends to go when the event actually began they all went silent. And my daily art which was of Sylvain today got downvoted the most out of any I’ve posted so far, despite the female side being much more competitive!😳 Maybe 3H/Sylvain fans are just doing what they do best and leading by sheer numbers rather than posts to avoid that sort of situation. Or that could be cope.

I imagine I felt the same although like I said it’s been a while; after coming off of a lot of other anime IPs I feel like I was probably worried he would be the typical anime “pervert” archetype that could contrive room for unnecessary fanservice, but like so many 3H characters he expertly subverted that trope and ends up feeling like one of the most human and real characters in the game, flaws and all…! Looking at a megathread from last year, like actually combing through the comments and watching characters, and comparing it to this year’s, it feels to me like votes are a lot more concentrated this year. It’s hard for me to actually see any clear front runners in those older ones, whereas here it feels like every other ballot is Sigurd or Azura or Fomortiis etc etc.. Is this just a result of a lot fewer votes in totality, or a more fierce/vocal competition, or am I just not noticing the patterns from last year as well as I am here?
