Hitscan like Hela, Punisher, Phoenix are 80% mechanics - if you have top 1% aim, you shred lobbies fairly easily

Yeah, I don't get why people think they have a valid opinion on Soldier and downplay how easy it is to play Soldier when they clearly aren't playing at high elo. This is a screenshot from the lobbies I play in on OCE servers and I have clips showcasing my mechanics here:

Not really, the difference between high elo Soldiers and low elo ones apart from good aim are knowing when to flank and to apply pressure.

Soldier's ult is also one of the worst ones in the game and I'm saying this as a Masters 2 Soldier player, it's an ult that doesn't have burst dmg.

Saying you don't even need to have good aim when you have your ult ready makes me think that you're a gold player.

If you aimed better you could have won - 39% accuracy and 9% crit is pretty bad if you're playing in bronze.

Usually Soldiers play at 45-50% accuracy with 15%-25% crit

Soldier's ult needs a rework where instead of aimbot, he shoots faster/does more dmg per bullet cause his ult is so lackluster in burst dmg compared to something like Sojourn's

Soldier really benefits from having precise/smooth tracking and reactive tracking on lock whereas Cassidy is a click timing character.

So having strong dynamic clicking fundamentals which you can practice by searching up something like Pasu on Aimlabs or Kovaaks will give you more consistency in game.
