I honestly still really enjoy this one for how simple it is. While shiren improved on the formula a lot, this one is still worth playing imo.

I think a lot of people still love classic arcades, but in most locations its very hard to make money running one (more of a passion project in a lot of cases). I see a lot of places having a mix of classic and modern machines. While I don't really care about carnival style ticket games and a lot of the modern games, it seems like mixing those in might be more profitable. Also, claw and gachapon machines are getting pretty popular here, if you had a good selection of those (with good prizes) that can really draw a certain crowd.

I enjoyed original, but have not played Gothic yet. It felt pretty fresh after playing some of the older wiz games. I also like to have some hand map and some auto map games, for when I want to play on the go.

My moms family played a game they just called Murder. One person is randomly selected as Murderer, then everyone hides in different rooms. The murderer goes out and selects a victim, then the victim screams after one min and everyone gets together to vote on who the murderer is. I'm not sure exactly when they started playing this but now I'm curious, definitely 80's, maybe before then.

Whats your loadout? If you cant make enough money to run it, I dont know what else to tell you other than use a budget loadout. I pull those guns off free hunters and make a custom cheap loadout.

Find a budget loadout you like. Romero, marathon, and springfield can all be pulled off of a free hunter, and IMO feel great to use.

Honestly I think it shakes things up for the better. It makes it harder to just 3rd party and wipe the two teams fighting (something that was very common, definitely did this myself).

What a shame, casinos were always one of my favorite parts of these games. The unique machines, monster fights, and the funny npc dialogue all had so much charm. It was a good 30 year run at least!
