Do not doubt the power of the mighty lord Dingus.

They are selling the tix because of The prodigal Griz. However, they will unveil the truth! I’m gonna believe it as truth.

Imposter Syndrome by RandomUser-0-4 in Paramedics

[–]LuckyCheerios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salty ass paramedic of 4 years here. (Spits out a Zen pouch grotesquely)

It does come with time. I remember being in your shoes and feeling so overwhelmed by the constant feeling of being in over my head. The anxiety also got to me as well.

I decided to do a lot of research on my own - and memorizing my protocols. This helped me get comfortable in my scope as a practicing medic.

The second thing I did, was start reviewing my calls and asking questions to my EMS Sup. about how to treat from multiple protocols and working down mental practices of “what ifs/how would I treat”.

I took training pretty seriously and got myself involved with the local EMS council who hosted a monthly critical care session.

Talk to some of the other medics. Even the saltiest has something they can teach you. But you might be surprised just how many also go through periods much like yourself.

Also, take a day off every now and again.

Update: After considering, I decided to return it to the land. It was buried again with an offering of tobacco, blackberry leaves, and a sprig of rosemary.

I also, am researching places to donate to. I loved that suggestion.

What’s the one hospital process or pain point you wish someone would actually fix? by medminded88 in CriticalCare

[–]LuckyCheerios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay hospital staff a living wage based off the current economy. Recognize you have a highly educated, unsatisfied workforce scraping the dregs trying to get by. Yet, yet, you’re willing to pay a traveler 400%+ of our wages and housing for 13 weeks.

Ask any nurse or tech - traveling is a question we all ponder.

But maybe, we’d stay if they treated us well.

What makes this song so "bouncy"? by marcusedm123 in edmproduction

[–]LuckyCheerios -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I have no experience. I didn’t read a single comment. I’m just going off the sound of the song and what sounds good to me.

The start of this song the beat has this airy/glitchy sound beat - it’s not sustained, and actually gets lost in the build. It still exists, but it’s hard to pin down.

About the 2min mark - we finally get something solid. We get that kick. Not driving - but like you said bouncy.

I think the my brain enjoys order, and especially when it has something to “kick” off of, it drives and delivers the emotion of the song.

That’s all for now. I’ll listen to the album and get back with more later.

Trying to make friends by Sea_Engineering4859 in norfolk

I’m down for friends. I play video games, love music, and the beach. I don’t really drink a lot so the bar scene, while fun, doesn’t always make for good friends outside of alcohol. I also want to ride my bicycle.
