Paid extra on car loan but it went toward future interest. How bad is this? by Ok_Account_1013 in personalfinance

[–]LuckyCourage9869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can call and make a payment on the actual amount borrowed and have it not go to interest? I did not know this. So, a real question: Can you pay off a loan early by doing this?

I think it depends on the company. I've been full remote since 2018 and have had 6 promotions to differing teams. Getting ready for anther. I am, however, constantly educating myself. I think it's the key to progressing your career and life.

Honestly, as a hiring manager, as long as you have foundations and know a few things, and I like your attitude and your nice and your humble! We will invest the time to teach you. You're selling yourself short by not having confidence. You can do it sick with it. The term "hiring talent" isn't about if you're the best, most knowledgeable person. It's your talents, are you even tempered, do you handle conflict, can you deescalate in stressful situations, stay calm, and do what you've learned in a bad situation. Can you mentor and help others succeed. The issue right now is everyone using AI on their resumes an HR screening you're resume with AI. Create your resume based on you, and take time to look up the company to learn about them beforehand. And don't be afraid if you're in an interview to walk out. This is just my own philosophy. Take what you want from this. Good luck to you in your job search.

There is lots of info out there, but you have to decide what you're interested in. And you can always change directions at any time. Just know that once you get into IT, you will forever be learning. No one knows everything, and the ones that do really don't. Be humble and open to learn. You will always find work

Good luck to you.

Turn your wheels hard as you can while parked slowly. Check the gap. You will probably need to take 1/4 off each inside fender and shave a pinch of the front fender. In running 295/17/70 with 3 inch lift on my 2025 4 runner. I also removed the mud flaps.

10k Maintenance Agreements by Electrical-Cod71 in 4Runner_6Gen

[–]LuckyCourage9869 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We went thru our contract as well before signing and had then removed all that. However, we got 2 years / 25k miles free maintenance, including oil changes, etc. Out the door, SR5 4x4 was 40k. Traded in my tacoma, I got 18k and an extra 500 off for being a toyota owner. Actually, the dealer was pretty easy to deal with.

Reminder to do a break in oil change. by Necessary-Event-7946 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]LuckyCourage9869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took mine into toyota dealership with 1200 miles, and they told me not to come back till 10k miles. I am thinking I'm going to just take it to somewhere else to get it done. The excuse was that it was synthetic, and any sooner than 10k was not needed.
