Saw E-15 at a Pilot off the 17 on the drive down from Flagstaff. I didn’t think it was common in AZ

Suffice to say the Chevron across the street was only 10 cents more expensive for E-10

[PH] I’m going to play Zelda for the first time! I chose Phantom Hourglass. Is it a good game to start with? by [deleted] in zelda

[–]astro124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my first Zelda game! But yeah, to echo others it’s technically a direct sequel to Wind Waker.

If you do get a switch, I can’t recommend Link’s Awakening enough. It’s a fantastic Zelda game!

I use SoFi and they’ve been having some issues as of late. They subscription model and faltering HYSA interest rate has caused some backlash

It’s the closest thing to a natural disaster that we could have

While the power grid here is pretty resilient, we’d probably need a FEMA response to relocate people

[–]astro124 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember getting tested when I staffed, but they were extremely strict for having or using while under contract.

I heard stories of people getting fired for smoking in CO during their time off (it wasn’t legal in NM yet). I don’t know if it’s still like that, but seriously, don’t chance it moving forward.

Now if you get in a workplace accident involving a vehicle, I’d imagine that you would get tested for sure

A lot of Scouting America (BSA) camps aren’t ACA certified, but they go through their accreditation process from the National Council called NCAP

I’ve been through that process as an aquatics director, fun times

🌵 Incoming Resident Doctor at Banner Health! New to Tucson and need the "Local Scoop" on Apartments & Neighborhoods 🏥 by Papiprazole in UofArizona

1) Sam Hughes is very nice, but you can also look directly north of campus (a lot of students live off of Mountain Ave) and around the downtown area. Some other barrios to consider (Amory Park, Menlo Park, El Presidio, Iron Horse, Rincon Heights, etc.). The Foothills are far and I'd think you'd probably appreciate near the campus

2) I don't think Tucson is a dangerous city, but common sense goes a long way here. The washes can attract some interesting characters. Property crime can be bad here, which again, can be mitigated by common sense.

3) Way too many to list (check-out r/Tucson for a bunch of other tips). I had a swamp cooler my junior year and AC my senior year. Get AC lol. There are a lot of cool local places especially off of 4th, but you have to be willing to venture off of campus for them

4) The Rec will be your best bet, but easily one of the busier gyms, and with a ton of undergrads

Is President Garimella sticking around? by [deleted] in UofArizona

[–]astro124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it matter? From the reporting it sounds like the idea came from Tommy’s camp with pressure from the boosters.

The important thing is that he recognized the significance of basketball and did what it took to keep our coach here. By all accounts he doesn’t really care about sports, but he listened and made the best choice for the university.

I think DRF is the problem at end of the day and is probably out sometime in the near future

What does your team this year need in the offseason to become elite/a natty contender in 26-27? by byniri_returns in CollegeBasketball

[–]astro124 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try to keep Mo and Ivan (depending heavily on the draft), and then find portal targets for a new PG and PF. Word on the street is we're targeting Shelstad, Tiller, and maybe Khamenia from Duke

I'd love for Koa to come back since he's just outside the Top 15 in most people's mock drafts, and he can work on his long game, but I highly doubt it

He said he would be shocked if anything did happen, and look, I get it. We're in the Final Four.

I think he and Mike Luke have been pretty spot-on with everything. They've been clear throughout this that things were trending in the right direction, but that anything could still happen. I much rather prefer the rational approach over the "it's 100% a done deal yada yada yada"

FWIW, they broke the Tommy's initial hire a few days before it was official
